We can’t afford to be as slow as we were today.

This is the email I got today and then 10 minutes later they sent me a correction one, as the barcode in the first email was for AFL games/finals so then sent me the right one for AFLW.

I’d love to see the joint packed out on Sunday and the girls having an excited, energised, vocal and quite frankly real Port Adelaide crowd right behind them, something the men’s team haven’t experienced for years.

It’d be awesome to hear a deafening “Powwwwwweeeeerrrrrr” chant ringing around Alberton, and I’d especially love to hear “Power, power, kick another goal!” every time we’re deep in attack. I’m sure the girls will love that one

It feels good to be able to support and feel connected with Port Adelaide, good escape for a PAFC with Ken Hinkley at helm. Skills may be below the mens but it's enjoyable to watch these women play with passion and grit this season.
