Jeez you would want to have the nutter on a tight leash, I doubt he will be , he won't change
Imagine being North and knowing you could have landed the Essendon first rounder for him which could have been Caddy or O’Sullivan for them

No doubt he has talent and so did one of my favourite players Harley but I think he will be lost to the game and the next time we hear of Thomas will be on the news doing something even more stupid

Will be at another club in 2025
Collingwood, Carlton, Essendon, Richmond, Hawthorn, or Geelong?

No one else would survive the backlash… and the AFL isn’t going to go against their cash cows…

IMG_1291.jpeg Have a gander at this f#%*ing dingus…

If you’re going to take pot shots, at least get him name right, clownshoes.

Collingwood and Essendon went hardest.

We sniffed around.

But yeah it seems obvious a contending big club with take a punt on an elite talent on a rookie type of deal

Yeah I think clubs will be very reluctant to go there. He's had multiple chances and shown no commitment to changing his behaviour. I'd be surprised if he plays AFL again.

He had a large number of clubs after him in October.

Hypothetically Had he been traded, do you think his new club sack him today?

It’s really hard to see that happening. Which would mean he would appeal to certain clubs.

Andrew Krakouer spent time behind bars convicted of assault with intent of causing bodily harm and missed 3 years of AFL football and still got picked up by the pies in 2011.

Harley Bennell was busted doing coke and effectively dealing to younger team mates. He was then locked up for assaulting someone. Still got a second and third chance at Freo and the Demons.

I could list De Goeys rap sheet again. But this post is already lengthy.

AFL clubs will always turn a blind eye to this stuff if it helps them win. It’s true in any decade of the game

What Tarryn has done is arguably a lot less serious than past players or even current ones like Marlion Pickett.

Krakouer spent some time in the WAFL didn't he proving he'd gotten it together? I guess if Thomas goes back to a lower level and proves he's turned it around I could see it happening, but really doubt he's on a list in 12 months time.

If clubs were after him in October then they wouldn't have known about the new allegations. He has been rubbed out for 18 weeks so you'd have to think it's pretty bad.

I would hope the Saints don't go anywhere near him.

Concussion laws have completely changed how rugby is adjudicated. It probably decided the result in the World Cup final just completed.

In the English league they now have self reporting mouth guards.

Here comes Alan Richardson with his 2 cents, remind me who this bloke was again.

"Melbourne football boss Alan Richardson insists the Demons do not have a drug culture, but concedes he cannot be sure." ... Reminds me of his coaching.

Richardson went on to say that in his opinion the drug culture was far worse at St Kilda.

"I just got the impression that the paying group, and indeed the support staff, were constantly up to their eyeballs on Doxepin, or Xanax or something. Whenever I addressed them they seemed like they were off in their own little worlds. Constantly day dreaming or something. It was like the words I was saying just weren't sinking in".

Richardson went on to say the situation became so bad they he started to notice the fans were following the lead of their heroes and also drifting off into some drug induced coma.

"They'll probably kick themselves later when I release my autobiography and they realise just how much they missed" the former coach added.

Footnote: Alan Richardson’s autobiography “Hello Saints Fans” is due to be released in Septem…….zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Keish on a hot evening, a perfect summer meal

There is an old 90s band called the Hard Ons and their singer's name was Keish. It takes me time to process it back into something more tangible than you licking a sweaty punk guy for a hot summer meal.

Lovett was 15+ years ago, society has changed significantly since then.

Yeah, you got the arse for anything going public back then. Now we pretend that we are rehabilitation their mental health and we are great guys for it.

My word.....it sounds like Richo has gone with the "Alan Bond" defence.

And look where that got him.....

Sorry but you are making things up to have a go at Richo.

The "but" is because of the AFL rules about illicit drug use which specifies only people at the club are advised of a 1st strike.

“The information at times, even for a person in my position, is not quite where you would like it to be, and that’s by design to make sure the welfare of the player is at the forefront of the information that comes back to your doctor....” Richardson said.

"Under the illicit drug policy, AFL medical directors and the player’s club doctor – but not club management – are told of a positive first test."

Smith was cited under a completely separate process.

Is why I largely blame the commission with such things, as it's a governance issue and not say Snake getting caught on camera having a sniff to be blatantly obvious about it.

They. Don't. Care. At. All.

You want to have a sniff or inject things, fine, don't be heard and don't be seen and it's all good.
You want to look at the opposite (or same, no hate here) sex and do whatever, fine, don't be seen, if it's heard, have a good story.
You ensure the game is forefront of what you do and we don't care who you are, and what you do, so long as no one but us and you know about it so we can quash it.

Anyone thinking they care about the people at clubs and the people acting in the game, is frankly an idiot, as you don't go from lots of money going into medical departments into what happened at Essendon with a commission that has a finger on the pulse. This shit leads to actual human eugenics and big pharma on a world scale and they spend literal decades with heads buried about what people and clubs were doing until it leaked across multiple sport codes. Let that sink in.

The literal only thing they have down to a science, is the renegotiation for the CBA with the AFLPA, and they as an entity only had to have this because the OG them exploited TF outta everyone below them to have pushback to almost collapse the game entirely as a professional sport.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

You don't blame the player, you don't even blame the club unless like what happened at Essendon, there were people actively working against people, you blame the head, as it is morally and almost entirely corrupt for that dollar.

Harley Reid watch;
  • Has done not much really.
  • Tried a fend off, thing of beauty that it attracted two Dockers to him for a HTB against.
  • Got cramp, hobbled off, more gushing softened the blow.
Next on Reid watch: him in an ice bath to swoon at. Can't wait for WA tabloids to splooge everywhere about such a speciman that gets cramp in a practice match.

Feel sorry for the kid really , over hyped and could very well flatten the kid - the whole state will be on his back.

Anyway the only team that I hope doesn't come up to expectations to me is Gold Coast - they have been given everything - and now with Hardwick who said he was burnt out and straight away is coaching again and given everything in the draft , I hope they sink.
Imagine if we were given half of what they have been given we most probably of won our 5th flag by now.

The AFL have tainted the field to bring Gold Coast up to standard - they may well pull it off but even if they do win a flag they will not be able to support the club forever and like any business they will fold.

How can a Rugby state warrant 2 clubs when the West and Sth Aust only have 2 and at this point they only can really support 2 - this has been a total waste of money by the AFL which could of went to use in some other area.

The AFL have tainted the field to bring Gold Coast the best chance to be playing for a flag - they may well pull it off but even if they do win a flag they will not be able to support the club forever and like any business they will fold.

Yeah I'm more poking fun at WA and footy media in general, as with those points I highlighted the commentary on call we're splooging everywhere and just making excuses due to the splooge, it's going to be hard for the man if he gets any of this into his head or cares what the media and pundits think or say as it will be almost sycophantic.

Just on GCS, I do feel sorry for them, the AFL really botched it originally and half arsed it as only they can do with "well, just hire out local gyms as we're not ready yet and shit in this bucket" was not fun I can imagine, so the fact that they do have things and can grow is a testament to them as an organisation. However, they need to grow solo and form their own cultures, that they go back to the hand that fed and bit them previously consigns them to general failure, much like our history, the Roys ending, Freo, Doggies, North and co.

Welcome to the fight lads, soon as you remove the hand from your arse, you might be brothers and sisters against the commission.

Jack Billings seems to have started well at his new club.
