AFLW 2024 - Round 9 - Indigenous Round - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
12 months ago I was convinced he was coming to us and pretty much a done deal. So much of a done deal that we nearly did it last year but we waited knowing he'd be out of contract and also that we really didn't want to trade our first rounder as we were keen on Watson, and knew the dogs were too.I’ve said Bailey will be a hawk for months, no rumours other than how this whole thing has played out. Time will tell.
Battle, barass and smith for our first round and f1 would end up being pretty worthwhile. Reckon we lose a player or two as well from our depth.
Launch on the other burgyone kid in the draft and I would be ecstatic. Nobody mention the beast either
Battle finished 3rd in the Saints BnF tonight.
Fool I can’t wait for preseason. Our defence is going to beDidn't get any highlight package either unlike the others on the podium.
Next level pettyness from the Aints.
Maybe they know they didn't get band 1 and they've been ****ed right off.
Bailey Smith looking likely as of tonight. Stay tuned to trade radio for more callers.
Did you cut and paste this from your exact the same post from Oct 18 last year?
Is that CJ in that second pic?
Had a chat with Sleepy Mark today nothing ground breaking but summary below
- Battle as a free hit is huge for our flexibility
- Been talking to the eagles for awhile parameters of deal mostly done
- Plans for next year Sic and Hardwick forward did say that Sic's preference is to stay down back also that Weddle will be moved up the ground
- Expects 2 or maximum 3 picks to be used in the draft
Said our business will get done early and he'll be enjoying his weekends
For what it's worth, I'm pretty sure I read just a couple of weeks ago that Geelong publicly stated that they didn't have a problem with being nominated while their season was alive (or words to that effect). So I'm not sure if that would be the case here.It may just be that Geelong prefer he didn't say anything in case they have other things come up or they can't get it done. But it's pretty obvious that he's heading there and media have been convinced.
Apparently was uninvited. Wasn't there.Didn't get any highlight package either unlike the others on the podium.
Next level pettyness from the Aints.
Maybe they know they didn't get band 1 and they've been ****ed right off.
Adelaide level of pettiness when they stripped Gunston of the most promising young player st their B&FApparently was uninvited. Wasn't there.
Seriously? The Saints uninvited Battle from the B&F? That would bode well for player targets if true.Apparently was uninvited. Wasn't there.
Loser club, with loser culture. When you have a whinging president who complains about the industry non stop and how unfair everything is- this kind of attitude bleeds into everything else and petty behaviour like this becomes culture.
Best part of the Saints season right thereAlso heard the Aints asked everyone to ‘bring a plate’ to the BnF
There was lots of BBQ shapes , cinnamon donuts and lamingtons ….just to name a few
It was at Tony Cockring levels wasn't itBest part of the Saints season right there
