I suppose that all depends on what our offer is re their compo?
I would expect the offer would need to be substantial for them to get what they think is fair recompense re draft collateral, afterall he is their lead ruck when fit.

Behind him they have Todd Goldstein 37 this year, Nick Bryan 23 YO (19 games) out of contract 2025, Rookie drafted 19 YO Vigo Visentini and 18YO 2024 draftee Forward /Ruck Kayle Gerreyn

I'm not sure that Goad fits the profile of what Adelaide needs at present. We need 2 mature ruckmen, to (potentially) replace ROB and (definitely) Strachan. Goad is too young, and is still developing, so he's probably not what we need at this point - unless ROB is planning on staying around for a few more years.

That's not a knock on Goad, just stating that he's not at the right point in his development to meet Adelaide's needs in 2026.

2 mature Ruckmen strategy like we did with ROB and Strachan 5 years ago.......
