FOS still can’t be right imo.

It will all come out in the wash next year what has occurred (I don’t know) or what he’s been dealing with. It’s clearly not just a wrist/hand though. Wouldn’t shock me if it was OP or something.

That 2km time is about 30 seconds slower than his one 12 months ago. He was a sub 6 min 2km runner as a bottom ager.
Yes, that's a possibility, the recruiters would know pretty much everything and the fact that Richmond are eyeing him off at #1 with a few of others tells me they are not worried at all about this year and that potential wise, nothing has changed, contrary to lots of supporters of all clubs who are now doubting his ability, potential and that most famous line that is used, "he's a big risk, and we can't afford to take it".

Maybe it’s just as simple as he has gone backwards because he hasn’t been able to train at a higher intensity?

Maybe he got a bit too confident and didn’t take his training and recover too seriously this year?

Would love to be a fly on the wall in his interviews, there has to be a reason why he didn’t manage to put it together at all this year.

Sounding a little like Will Phillips 2.0 (and that's coming from a WilPhil supporter).

I do not feel lucky and have never done with our esteemed drafting history…

I’d do 7,8 for 2,24. Think 7,8 for just 2 is probably too steep but certainly agree with you! Nth hold the cards and if we want someone bad enough, which I do, we should pony up
7 and 8 for 2 and 24 comes out to 3554 vs 3598 so that's slightly in StKilda's favour. However, we have been bumped back to 25 now so it's 3554 vs 3570. It's as close to evens as you're going to get as a trade if you consider the draft value points table to be valid.

Yeah by the points scale it may work but in reality, what are St.Kilda paying to get up the ladder. We're not in the business of being fair, at least I'm not anymore. They can pay us 27 for our 43 too.

So 2,43(~53),F4 for 7(9),8(10),27(~35) or keep trading for Cats, the choice is yours, fiddler (not on the roof, in general).

If the top end of the draft is so even that we'd split pick 2, I'm struggling to see why another Club would give up two selections in that range.
There are teams in the bottom 10 that have not yet established a strong midfield or are needing to transition to a younger talent profile: Tiges, Crows, St Kilda, Melbourne, Essendon all could aim to trade up to get a chance at Draper, Langford, Smillie, Smith, Lalor & O’Sullivan.

While we may think our midfield is still pox, our KPP stocks are bereft.

Richmond to get the first 2 kids in the draft and not have to worry about a player sliding that they want

Giving up 6 and 13

Rumour is they want 2 of Jagga, Lalor and FOS

Good chance all are gone in the first 5 picks

I think Harvey Langford is a good chance to be taken with your first pick
A bigger mid that can play forward
Dyl stephens
Colby M
Fisher all left footers pickup last year.
I think Clarko would be keen to keep bringing them in.
Langford at his size would give your midfield a more balanced look.

Because there are 18 list managers/coaches that see things entirely different?

It is a midfield draft at the top, and teams need quality midfielders. There could be 4-5 teams looking at 2 as we type.

Got Shinboner written all over him. We need more picks. Plays like Sicily.
Yes he does, really good call there LB2Snake, the two defenders I really like are Alix and Harry O'Farrell, Alix is the only player apart from a small forward and of course a key forward that I can entertain with one of our first two picks. Can't wait to see what picks we actually end up with in this draft {though there is a chance we won't know till draft night: live trading} the next week will be interesting, a lot of questions just about us is getting to that stage where if your not slightly getting excited about this draft and what role we are going to play in it then you've got something other than blood in your veins.

Yes I know the season we just had, future first: bring it on, split that pick 2, if we somehow do get Dan great, if we don't, we must and I think we will, attack this draft, that is one thing Will and Brady are saying is a possible scenario, if and its depending on a few things happening, this does happen and we have 4 picks in the top 25 then forget about the draft next year, like I've been saying, the players we need and the players we want, could very well be the same maybe apart from the odd player, balance could be the key word in this draft and what we do with our picks to me is a real indication of what we are going to hopefully do.
"Got Shinboner written all over him", another great call and "The flying viking" has it in spades. Our defence is not an area of concern as much as our key forward and small forward roles but if we did get those picks then on potential alone he has to be in serious consideration for that other pick, on the other hand we trade our future first we can possibly take the the best key forward, one of the best small forwards, and that running defender with so much potential, of course if we wanted to go a more attacking defender then Tobie Travaglia is the one, but for me the cool swede would be a great get.

Yeah it’s definitely exciting. Pretty keen on us, somehow, getting our hands on Armstrong and Tauru. Not sure how we do that, as I feel Armstrong will go top 5, so splitting pick 2 for the varying permutations is risky IMO.
Don’t mind the idea of dangling F1

Exactly why I think we’re possibly looking at splitting our pick 2 over 2 years. I don’t think there will be any takers to get 2 this year.

#2 for #4 and Adelaide's 2025 1st

Adelaides 2025 1st & our 2025 1st for #6 & #13 from GC

Pick at #4, #6 & #13

Out: #2 & 2025 1st
In: #4, #6 & #13
I’d luv this. Don’t think there’s any chance of Crows giving that much up to move 2 spots forward. I also think the Crows would want to stay in 2025 for Dyson Sharp. Think crows would be more likely to give us 4 for our F1, but we’d prob need to throw a F2 or this years 2nd in.

Spot on, intel is the key word here, if we don't select Harry I would be very surprised if Melbourne took him and not a good midfielder and in that regard he might slip out to double figures and Richmond could pounce on him. Richmond and what we do with our first pick in this draft {pick 2} will shape/ shock this whole draft.

The most asked question coming into this draft, the answer is that top six midfielders are the cream, now recruiters will have them in different orders but they aren't moving out of that top ten, so if you want the choice {bar the player Richmond take with their first selection} then an elite midfielder is yours, not a promising player or good player but a gun, offers will come don't worry about that, the question is which club, Richmond, Fremantle, St Kilda or someone else?

The scenario I haven’t seen mentioned that makes some sense is 2 for saints pick 7 and their F1 … then the rumor we are targeting Suns pick 6 for our F1 is a bit less risky.

It’s all guesswork …

Not bad, but why would the crows do that deal? The only reason is if the crows have intel that West Coast are very heavily into Sid Draper and want to leapfrog them. Also keep hearing pick 6 might be going to the tigers.
