I think Reid suits our needs more than Draper but I'd be happy with FOS or Draper.
Reid is too small and too slow. Draper and FOS are well clear of him as prospects in different ways. Nice player and will have a very good career, but I would be fuming if we chose him at 3.
Gold Coast screwing Carlton big time.
How?

Alright lads, more vision of Finn playing in 2023

----

Heavy demand in recent days to see more of Finn O'Sullivan during his relatively injury free bottom age campaign. Here we see him leading his Chargers to a big win in the first round of last years Talent League finals. He cracks in hard at stoppage, winning a lot of footy and laying tackles. He shows his ability to dodge and weave around tacklers, and the audacity to take on the play with calculated risks to break lines.

My untrained eyes just don't see it with FOS. I can't see a single thing he does better than Draper from highlights, even Drapers kicking appears much better despite some reports. FOS has some decent agility, though appears not as good as Draper. Decent speed, again not as good as Draper.
I may well be an imbecile, but even while trying to remain open I just don't see FOS being much better than say Ben campo. But again, I thought Walsh was too vanilla so who TF am I to have an opinion.

Has a unique ability to find opposition players with his kicks. I'm sure one day his team might keep possession from one of his kicks. Looks good though and that's enough for some recruiters. Reminds me a bit of L.O.B if it looks good people will think you are a good kick, result doesn't matter. For every 8 out of bounds on the full L.O.B made a bullet pass, sensational yeah.

You should trust your judgement more because it is spot on. I remember flipping my s... and losing my mind when we selected Dow and O'brien at 3 and 10 and saying they were horrible selections, but the squad all told me i didn't know what i was talking about, who was I to question the almighty guru. The same guru the squad now scoffs at.
I remember when I objected to bringing in all those injury prone G.W.S discards, while letting go a solid 22 game a year defender in Touhy and being shouted down. There are a lot of f wits in football making these decisions, it never changes.
Good ones are rare.
Not sure about Walsh ever being vanilla though lol.

Agree, i don't see it with O'Sullivan, but admit there isn't a lot of vision out there.

Cal Twomey just now discussing on trade radio with Kane Cornes and Damian Barrett about who will be in contention for our pick 3 he mentioned Finn, Drapor, Jagga and Lalor 😍

Spoke to a draftee that I Bumped into at the sauna today. Told me Jagga been told his going pick 1. He reckons FOS is easily the best in the draft even better than Ashcroft. His highlights don’t do him justice and is an ultimate professional. Had an injury cruelled year but wil” be elite. I told him that I don’t rate him and he said I don’t blame you based off the vision out there but he was easily the hardest player to tag and dominated weekly. The other guy was a bit older (22) told me he is better then what daicos, Ashcroft etc were in there U17 year. I’m all aboard the FOS 🚂 now.

Unfortunately, I doubt he’s there at 3.

Drafting based on what Voss likes has me petrified.
Every team has standards a player must adhere to. If Voss' are being highly competitive and thriving at the contests I think your doubts are seriously misplaced.

Voss may not have the tactical genius some would like, but he has without a doubt improved our club dramatically after the Bolton and League disasters.

Smith has exceptional IQ. I'd need to be convinced by the new fitness team that they'd be able to get his body up to scratch, he's a twig atm
Dare I say it but I think that Smith could play the Berry role for a year or 2 whilst he fills out and play it better than Berry. Then on ball/forward splitting time with Cody. (Ducks for cover).
