Here's my take (out of 5):Neater disposal and more of an accumulator.
Of the four characteristics I think we're really looking for, i'd rate the two as follows (based on my limited viewing of Youtube highlights).
Draper Jagga Disposal Speed / Agility Clearance Accumulation

He's factoring in Norf bidding on Ashcroft at 2, so making Norf's pick 3 on the night, and ours 4.Since when did Norf have Pick 3 & us Pick 4 (just noticed)

I'm team Smith but Draper is faster both top speed and acceleration. Pretty clear when you watch them.
Still unconvinced FOS is the right choice for us, l would have Smith/Draper/Langford/Fos in that order if they are all available.

I agree. But they still need to get to a draft position where they can be confident they will get him. That’s their challenge.

A much skinner version, he actually looks like Clayton Oliver if he had done a copious amount of hard dru…ah never mind.
Smith is bust proof imo.
Draper is not.
Both have similar potential ceilings though. Which is 300 games and brownlow medallist material.

I’ve just returned from the year 2035 and I found this cryptic clue on a tv game show under:
“which 5 time premiership player and two time Brownlow medalist did Carlton trade up to pick way back in 2024?”
Was it Jessie Smith???? I’ve been racking my brain all night about (Oh and make sure you stock up on toilet paper and crypto)

If I was north Melbourne I’d probably just keep pick 2 and take Jagga.

Because North's midfield looks set for the next 10 years.
LDU, Wardlaw, Sheezel, Mckercher, Simpkin Scott, Powell with some depth in Phillips and Stephens.
How many midfielders can you draft over a 4 or 5 year period? Would be the biggest list imbalance I’ve ever seen.
Of course it’s a scenario but the least likely imo, did you see their backline this year?

I think they’d take FOS if they were to pick a mid
That would give them all these multiple positioned mids: Mckercher Sheezel Duursma FOS
To add with LDU Simpkin and wardlaw
Makes them a very unpredictable side and you can chuck those 4 either forward or back if they feel over compensated
I called it the other day, keep 2 - take best available & sell a mid next year for 1st & 2nd round picks, use that to bring in an established KPP.
No risk and they get 2 guns, it’s not like they will be pushing for finals next season
