Sure clubs will have done their diligence and make a informed decision whether there are any concerns.Whoa, big Draper fan, but a ZeroHanger article suggesting he missed the draft combine due to a chronic Pars Defect is a massive go slow. For it to be manifesting at his age is scary. We already have Walshy with a chronic back (and George)
I have a Pars Defect among other things, admittedly I am of a different vintage and it took decades to severely impact me(along with pelvic procedure), but it is debilitating. Leg neuropathy is a common symptom, mine rampant. Not a surgeon, so hard to offer meaningful feedback regarding potential impingement and possible impact at his age. I am concerned that it is reported as the reason he missed the combine, suggesting early issues. Spine can be fused as treatment, doubt it would be a positive outcome for his movement range. (I cannot have mine fused as my entire pelvis is already fused and both in conjunction would leave me with next to no movement)
Massive need for due diligence off the back of that report. Love the kid, but wow?

DraperfieldSimilarly, Judd wasn't exactly the best kick around but would get a 20m burst from contest with a 50m kick put the defence into a scramble.
Another example is Dangerfield. Bog average kick but can kick it 60 after a 20m burst.
That 70m-80m player absolutely decimates a structure, regardless of kick accuracy.
We're on the final stretch run with the National Draft only a couple of weeks away. Just like last season I'll be producing a series of full season highlights videos for the top prospects, and first up is Sid the kid, the SANFL Sensation Sid Draper.
I've watched all the clips of the top prospects.
I've read hundreds of pages of analysis and different opinions.
I simply cannot understand how anyone would consider FOS over Smith or Draper. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.
Draper is still the one I want. He looks like the ultimate hard working professionals. Powerful, fast and competitive. He looks like a big game player. Explosive.
Full season highlights (with a few bonus bits from season 2023) for the mystery man Finn O'Sullivan. Might be the most talented of the 2024 crop but injuries prevented him from showing his full potential. If he slides on draft night he could make some recruitment teams look foolish in a year or two.
I know b-all about him but he reads like a good smoky selection as a power forward type. For those who know more about Charlie West, what role could he play in our team?

pressures on austin otherwise he's in troubleThere’s a lot riding on this selection.
Can’t afford to get it wrong again after Dow …
It is not hate, just some people maybe don't rate him as a top 3 prospect. It is like saying, I prefer Sydney Sweeney over Megan Fox... Not like you're saying no to either, you just prefer one over the other due to x, y, z...He’s so good by foot and the goals he kicked are just class!! He’s gonna be a special player and I would love him in navy blue!!! Still don’t understand the hate he receives
I'd like Matt Whitlock if he managed to drift that far.A couple of nice KPDs in that range too
Who needs a left peg, when you have a right one like that. Great hands in close, as well. I see a bit of The DominatorHe’s so good by foot and the goals he kicked are just class!! He’s gonna be a special player and I would love him in navy blue!!! Still don’t understand the hate he receives
Reading there are surgeries to repair a chronic pars defect, or spondylolysis, including:Whoa, big Draper fan, but a ZeroHanger article suggesting he missed the draft combine due to a chronic Pars Defect is a massive go slow. I'd like Jack Whitlock but I don't think he'll slide that farI'd like Matt Whitlock if he managed to drift that far.
Charlie West is another option that might be worth considering.
All good brother. On reflection I probably came across a bit harsh in my response. I guess when I read your post - the trade made no sense based on the info that we suspect is true from all reports of which clubs are after which prospects. But once I thought more into where you were coming from I get it.My Initial thought was that with Pick 2 we can pretty much guarantee the player we want, but seeing as though they want Tauru, they'll pick him with 2 anyway, so we still get who we want without an additional selection (2 wont affect us unless we want Tauru).
Basically I was tired and it was crap reasoning. I could have cost us Pick38. Lucky I'm not in charge of the pick trades...
Could be even better than Sticks, Bradley’s and Mots coming in 86. Just hope none of them have the bad fortune that Mots encountered to take away his dreams and talent.might be a strategy
