Though perhaps not trusting some of the kids enough is a question mark. I get some players like Moir have major questions on tank etc but excitement and adrenaline is a powerful thing. If he was on earlier we may well have gained an extra couple of goals.

Look at the young guys come in and energise the team. Needed to rotate them through the season to give them a taste and give some seniors a rest.

Regardless of the result of the Port-Freo match there is a reality in how we've played for more than half the season. We are not up to it in "clutch" moments", we lack consistency in effort, and our poor defensive structure/ability (an achilles heal for at least several seasons), have cost us dearly. We were playing for finals today and we couldn't rise to do the occasion! When we look at the efforts this season of the (fledgling but super-impressive) Hawks you realise how much further we have to go to be a focused, coherent team. It is so frustrating and disappointing that "as a team" we are not where we should be, and I suspect a lot of it is due to our mental conditioning (or lack of).

No one stayed on our side of the stoppage and allowed Higgins through. We all stood defensive side. One more forced stoppage and that was game. Our stoppage setups have screwed us all year and we need to get that right. Gutsy with so many out. I don’t think many teams, if any, could cover that many key outs. There’s a tipping point and we reached it a long time ago.

Why not give Billy Wilson a game....he couldn't have been any worse than Motlop or Durdin. 8 disposals & 3 tackles combined by those 2 players for 4 quarters. I know they are young kids, but thats not good enough.

Young was not fantastic. Did a few nice spoils but ball in hand he's ab absolute liability

Panics every time he gets the footy. Even if it's a mark or a free kick. Has no opposition pressure and as much time as he likes and he still panics. You can see the anxiety of having to pick an option and deliver the ball.

Moir should have started. He atleast has the hunger for a 2nd gamer. Motlops confidence hasnt been there all season due to injury, so he should have been sub.
