Easy way to solve that. Start him on the ground and sub him out when he's tanked. He might have had all manner of impact in that time.

Why wasn't Moir brought on in the 3rd quarter??? The smalls (Durds, Owies, Motlop, Fanta) were not impacting the game anyway. Surely Moir has enough stamina to play half a match. Voss needs to trust the kids a bit more. Completely wasted the season.
We had several "clutch" goal moments today that went begging. Once we get those right we'll be serious contenders for the flag.

I would have put him on at half time and taken Durdin off. His shoulder was ****ed last week, it's still ****ed this week.

He didn't even carry them into the next game without kicking and screaming.
How many times did we have the ball 70m out from goal and no one lead towards kicker?

I suggest directing more scrutiny on Head of fitness, list management and the lack of a strategic assistant. Above all the president should be held to account for the shambolic review he undertook that did not fix any of those problems

yeah but its not just injuries...weve done it with our best too...we just aint that good in tight finishes...burnt too many times to think otherwise

We had basically 0 selection choices last couple of weeks. We just played whomever was fit.
If we'd picked a debutant in Moir and he stunk it up, it would have looked like a complete dumbass move.

I think most acknowledge his weaknesses. We're just not all gonna melt down and call for the bloke's blood.
11 starting 22 missing and we weren't brave... give it a spell
thought Young did a lot right, if only Kemp had of kicked that goal. The young guys will bring a lot but look for the smarter heads rather than back themselves. Thought we played fairly well and backed a run and gun game in the 3rd qtr which got us back in but has a risk. Death riding now.
Vossy probably thought we're still in the game and persisted. He needs to be quicker to make changes in-game.
Binns can play. Lord can play. Moir can play.

Genuinely embarrassing. Missing half our side and these bunch of half wits supporting a team of perennial failures and disgusting blokes like Butler, are digging the boots in... what a ****ing disgrace.

Proud of our effort, but it should never have got down to this game, full stop.
The Pies loss is why we aren’t playing finals. Port game stiff as 5 day break and too many injuries in the end. The other games just not good enough.
Here’s the crazy irony - we were heroic in last 2 rounds of 22 and 24 with so many out. We just can’t seem to get that commitment when we have more of the supposed “guns” available. That’s clearly mental fragility.
There’s a future as great top end talent, and it seems our kids are better than we thought.

Instruction was to get pressure at the fall of the ball. Similar to what we did last week.
Unfortunately, Motlop was as useful as **** on a bull. We had no Zac Williams and Saints defenders are a massive step up in class from the West Coast ones.
Think the strategy was right given we had no height. Had hoped Cripps would play more forward than what he did but clearly his shoulders are cooked.
Had to be a D50 stoppage that did it. We are the worst in the comp.

Honestly though, how does Vossy sub off a kid who can play as a burst mid and kick a goal (Who also showed his footy smarts by taking 2 marks inside 50) and keep Durdin & Mots on?
