Voss from about 2 months ago would drop him to slot returning players in...

Let's hope he's learned from that mistake...
When the returning players are in the mold of McKay, McG and Curnow, you can't blame Voss if Lord gets squeezed out.

Would you be willing to drop Kennedy so that Lord can continue in the midfield?

Because Voss is not going to play Kennedy, Kemp, McKay and Curnow in the same forward line.

Yeah Binns Lord and Moir have come in and done the job, and they should be congratulated for it.

But the reality is at least 2 of them and possibly all 3 won't be there for the Brisbane game, and its the right call imo
moir needs to stay in, has some x-factor. especially if Owies is out (suspended).

Good effort today even though I'm very disappointed with the result and turnovers.
Well we fell into the finals with an injury list longer than than the great wall of China, no forward structure and a defence looser than a Kardashian's legs.
Due to a shortage of umpires, it was so nice of St Kilda to supply there own for our game.
Good luck in the finals Saints. Oh wait...
That’s a value-laden post…nice work.

I posted my team a few pages back in the preview thread:

I'm not interested in dropping players who have performed.

Hi all Bluebaggers ,

Yes the last 8 weeks have not been great - and yes we kind of fell into the final eight but we are still alive and with players to come back in and nothing to lose so you never ever know.

And as well - Collingwood 9th (The best way to stir their supporters up is to tell them no Jack Ginivan no Pies :)
Essendon miss finals yet again and Tiggers win the spoon - HAPPY DAYZ !! :)

also players dont run non-stop for 2 hours. They have Q time breaks as well as bench time

missing the point a little but I still dont believe the he isnt ready stuff.
Even Binns, who runs all day at vfl level, was stuffed in the 4th last night. Moir simply doesnt have that base.

I'd like to know how we got the only Motlop in the country whi isn't a skilled, dangerous forward.
Probably a little unfair, last season pre-injury he was very dangerous, kicked a bag of 4 from memory against Port.

He just hasn't got back to that level.

Might not be a popular view, but I thought Pitto did very well against one of the competition's best ruckman in Marshall. Kicking a goal was also a bonus.

It probably wasn't obvious on the TV coverage but it looked to me that Weitering looked "out of sorts" for a lot of the game. Head down, jogging rather than sprinting etc. Don't think it was an injury, he just looked quite flat. Weird.
They put a lot of work into Weitering. Blocking him off the ball and scragging him like a defender would a forward. Didnt allow him to run around and dictate. His last few weeks have shown why he wont be all Australian. Drops his head too often for a leader.

I used to think nobody got more out of themselves than Cottrell. Cinc though, wow. Well done
Cotts was flying though before his first injury... then we rushed him back into the side and he was just starting to show some form again... and he goes back down. Cinc and Cotts are two guys who will never say die.

Just realized there’s two things which make up for the heartbreaking loss (in addition to making finals anyway):

1) It means Saints get pick 7 instead of 5 and a tougher draw in 2025 - so was it really worth it for them

2) It means Collingwood missed Finals by one solitary behind - they just needed an extra point in their draws against * or Freo and they would have been ahead of us - so having Collingwood miss Finals by 1 point and that too when we are the team to take their spot is pretty damn nice

Just a note, more I watch Elijah play the more he reminds me of Robbie Gray.
