Feel like we got smashed in the territory battle after HT and the last 15 mins was the flow on effect of that. Ball lived down their end and the inside 50 count proves it. Umps are a garbage excuse - Dees took Weitering out of the game after HT and we didn’t adjust

Yeah nah we dominated the entire match and almost threw it away changing the way we play, work to do on closing out games but Melbourne never deserved to even be in that contest at the end.

Exactly, if one was to reduce the entire game down to a couple of shots at goal at the end, then we were lucky to win, but that would be simplifying things ridiculously.
We totally controlled 80% of this game , and thoroughly deserved the victory.

This is not sustainable against the teams we are competing against for Top 4.

Bit of a collapse there in that fourth quarter. Still though that's a vital four points banked ahead of a tough road trip to Sydney next week.

It was important not to lose a third successive game, and we edged out Melbourne in another close one. After the Swans game the fixtures get a little bit easier as well.

It's all about keeping the top four within our sights as we await the return of our better players.

A bit of a disappointing end but a win is a win.

Our stars were good Weitering, Cripps and Walsh great.

Really loved Cincotta's game, he should be one of the first selected.

Our backline with two mediums in Kemp and Gov, Weitering and 3 smalls Boyd, Newman and Cincotta looked way more stable and functional.
