Difficult game to call. Gold Coast seems fairly unpredictable.

With Rampe gone we'll be fairly weak in defense.

I predict a pretty close game but we'll probably pull away in the second half and win by about 35.

Please, please, please win.

I really don't want to be hoping on a Hawthorn win to avoid a doughnut tipping round!

This is big, we'll know all we need to know about our flag chances after this game.

This mob are as bad a match up for us as anyone.

Doesn't mean we can't beat them of course, but I have a feeling that if we do win that it will be decided in the last few minutes.

Their three tall backmen will be a nightmare. Hard to see one of our tall forwards dominating. Might be a game for top-shelf Papley to have an impact.

Not sure about this one at all, or that the 15-day break works in our favour - thank you AFL!

I used to work for one those computer support companies that will come out to your house and fix your computer for you. We had a phone call one day from a customer who wanted help with a new computer. I thought this would be an easy job, so I go to the clients house and Sam Reid answered the door.

Now he was pretty up to speed with how his computer worked, and had no problems with the operating system or any of the programs. He was very concerned about losing files, so I made sure not only to back up his stuff but also to replicate the directory structure, the desktop, everything. To make sure that he would be comfortable with the new system, I even kept his old monitor, keyboard, and mouse on his desk, to prevent any ‘look and feel’ changes from throwing him.

Well, two days later, he calls, in tears, hysterically sobbing. He couldn’t use his new computer. I took a look, and everything was just as it should be. Windows 10 ran, Office was here in all its glory, his documents and presentations (and their shortcuts) were all in place — everything works.

Me: ‘So what’s the problem?’

Sam Reid: ‘I can’t use this computer.’

Me: ‘Why not? It has the same programs, the same operating system, the same documents, everything.’

Sam Reid: ‘Yes, thank you very much. But I can’t use this computer!’

Me: ‘Well what’s wrong?’

Sam Reid: ‘Nothing’s wrong. I just can’t use it. I don’t know how to use new computers.’

For some reason, since this was a new computer, he forgot everything he had ever learned about all the applications he used to be proficient with. He had to relearn everything.

There were no exclaims of recognition, either, like, ‘Oh, this is Word, just like before!’

He had to be taught how to use everything all over again. He even asked that all his documents be printed out, so he could retype them.

Very few posts so far this morning … we’re either very nervous about today’s game, or had a huge night last night (or both?) 🤷‍♂️
Should be a tight tough match… really hope Horse and coaches bring their A game today!
Bloods by less than 2 goals 🤞🙏

Ooorr... it was 7 am and people like sleep ;)

I'm moving in a week so packing the house today. I'll just say, I'll be watching the scores and this board

geez, i hate that
neighbours in a big townhouse next door have been in the process for what seems two weeks at least ... moving van was there wednesday and they're still back and forth this weekend clearing out stuff
good luck with everything

Need to get our pressure game going again like it was in the first 3 weeks. Wicks being in will help provided he’s not sub.

Hopefully Adams is back to full fitness now to help us with the centre clearances.

Make good decisions and and convert when we have the momentum and we should be able to match them all the way.

I hope we re-sign Sam Reid, just for the sake of these posts.

It's the worst. Even worse is we have to move at least twice in the next 6 months, to in laws and then to either rental or house we buy if we find one
