Last year I would have agreed with you but I think we need to have one eye on the future and I think just going with what we have will not cut it for a shot at a flag. Not saying Clark will fill the gap but we need some fresh blood and youth. Everything about Clark says to me barring injury he is a 200 + game player. His form says he is in the mix. My view is just play him in as many games as possible whilst players you have mentioned are there for him to learn from and aid his development plus it let's him develop alongside Bruhn and Holmes.Not an unrealistic call but, as far as pure mids go, Atkins, Bowes and Bruhn are all well ahead of Clark. Then you have Blicavs, Dangerfield, Duncan and Holmes who are also ahead of him, but might play in other positions on the ground.
I wouldn't be surprised if Clark is in the starting 22, I just don't think he stacks up as a pure mid just yet, and I don't think he has the versatility to play any other role.
