Might be a silly question but the teams that played round 0 will go up in price before the players that started in round 1?

So cadman will go up in price next week having played 3 games?

Or are they just getting an added boost when the normal players who started in round 1 go up in round 3?

I am pretty sure that's how it works. So you must get in players such as T Berry this week if you haven't already got them. Except for players in bye teams coming up this round of course.

Guys like Dempsey can wait a week

But t berry is gonna go up massively! So will need to act fast

Gibcus, Williams and Fisher the disappointments. Grundy would have been ok without the 6 or so frees against. A couple looked pretty harsh.

The rest very good, or to be expected. Former whipping boys Rowell and Heeney outstanding. Green great. Daicos as C did well. Flanders, Steele, Marshall, NWM, Bonner all good.

Had a bad R1 last year and never improved. Misses were D’Ambrosio and Sheezel. Had them in the team last week. Looking to turn Gibcus into D’A but might need to downgrade one of my players tomorrow. Rozee to Wines? Not sure, but will cash me up.

Happy I rolled the dice on Green and Miller rather than one of them. Byes be damned. I'll wear the damage when it comes.

I wasn't too far off downgrading Sheezel to Young. I'm hoping not doing so pays off. Young still is a gamble I think.

Holmes 112 and Cameron 120 as my value Cat picks, well at least it worked the first week.

Mannagh instead of Dempsey and reshuffling elsewhere? Well it's a bit of a Gob: "I've made a terrible mistake". Mannagh does look lively but Dempsey has the JS and already genuine star material.

Pros:
Pretty damn happy with Steele, Touk and Flanders as starting picks if I’m being honest. Sneeze is an absolute STUD. Whitfield looked pretty good as well. Heeney speaks for himself.
Avoiding Berry over Kerch only cost me 8 points so I’m not too concerned there, but Kerch looked ominous at his price.

Cons:
Risky picks in Martin and Fisher really backfired on owners here. The trap was laid with bait in place, and bang, we fell for it. The role is certainly there for them with 20+ touches each, but if they’re channeling their inner-Taranto and spraying their kicks all over the shop then something will have to be done. I think I’ll give them both another week though.

Grundy with a 71 also didn’t help. Might flip him if he shits out another crappy score.

Will need to shuffle the deck chairs and get some cash-gen rooks in, as Jhye Clark and Burgess (don’t ask, ok you asked, I thought I had Cadman but forgot to check prior to the GWS game as I flipped Stewart down to Whitfield for cash, ha, haha, fml) will need correcting to Dempsey and T Berry.

May need to find room for Kerch and Bonner but they can wait a week.


All in all a pretty solid-ish start considering.

Now, now it’s time for me to prepare myself for SBS:

Now I’m considering trading Butters to Wines, so I can free up the cash to go Fisher to Flanders.
