I guess that's technically DFA though, just through drafting means

By contrast, you could also count that spud Crocker

Well he went into the draft, so he was forced to come here.

But different to us making a play to recruit someone that has to choose us

Big call, hopefully he can get a full pre season in.
No big call, what he did in the SANFL as a 20 year old was enough to suggest he has a future with us, also has the added string to his bow that with another year or 2 in an elite fitness system he can be a very viable back up ruck.

Apparently beside ANB and Cumming we are targeting someone else that we will potentially know about tomorrow

''Hi my name is Sloane Rory ''

So since Nicks signed on around the trade period in 2019, we've attracted to our club:

Billy Frampton
Mitch Hinge
Jordan Dawson
Izak Rankine
Chris Burgess
Alex Neal-Bullen
Isaac Cumming (maybe)

Across six trade periods.
Mmmm .....you conveniently forgot to include Keays, Keane, and Murphy from the Australian Mascot's Association

You wouldn't know her, she goes to a different high school

I agree with Bicks on this one. I saw Toby Murray play up close and personal. Big lad with a lot of athleticism. And he's a Murray, so aggression is not something I think he'll be lacking.

At his size if he can put the footy side together similarly to his brother, that's a very high ceiling IMO.

For what has trade week started or finished yet ? Talk about wetting the bed . Yes luko would of been handy but he isnt a priority, Mids and ruck are more needed we have welsh , tex fogarty , thilly , etc already

AND Curtin

Around 15 unless welsh comes on leaps and bounds in pre season

Welsh will be good ....got some puppy fat to lose, and some K's to put into the legs ....but the talent is undoubted

He's a clone of his dad ....and that represents a good player

I can't believe the talking down this lad has received here .....hot to trot on him at the start of the year, almost dismissive now

So what you are saying is tex offers us nothing, next year ?

Tex will need continuity of games next year ....after a break, a 34 YO starts to seize up, more with reflexes

I'd like to see him being regularly subbed off in games

Most clubs don’t even have two good KPFs, let alone any depth. At least we have two of them. Hopefully one or two of Curtin/Murray/Welsh can help fill a 3rd tall role longer term.
Yep .....DO NOT underestimate Turray ! ....aggressive big buggar, and athletic

i kind of think he stays. 3 years is long enough for port to ask for the farm, but who in victoria has the draft capital and is willing to give it up in such a good draft? would have to be good future picks and i dont think port would accept that.

Someone close enough to a flag to not care about picks

What is he actually worth?

How do you screw that kind of meeting up?

All you have to do is show up and be enthusiastic and talk about a future with Fog and Filthy.

I could do that. Get me on the staff, ffs.
You can screw it up easily TBH. We seem to do it often
