Fist pump with the Cumming news was happy considering he’d been talking it up for over 12 months

I asked if knew anything more ,said wasn’t sure on Peatling but not shocked if we got him

He’s involved with alot of junior SANFL development too and I asked about Draper , said Port are pushing Houston out they want to get into the draft and get Sid Draper if possible
Pretty adamant we’d take him at 4 if available, will focus on local talent this year trying to get Dodson if possible

Reckons we’ll go balls deep for NWM (next year) the 2 year in advance future picks came at the right time

According to gettable Peatling was in the academy at the time Nicks was there, and didn't get drafted so was assistant coach while Nicks was too.

I don't know the details, coach of what team or if they were coaching together or not, but that's the story.

No idea either, but credit to the Sydney connection to Nicks, that's his territory.

We are after Norths pick 2 and will if pushed, offer both Laird and Murphy if it gets the deal over the line

So we have to trade for ANB and Peatling whilst also holding onto pick 4 (and hope the Arse Pirates don't get NM pick 2), then hopefully get Hobson (somehow) and have enough draft capital to get Welsh.

I assume we won't get any compo for Berg, given we got Cummings.

Some creative thinking required or trade a current player that is actually worth something (appears unlikely).

I feel somewhat for GWS fans. We have had our fair share of loosing players, so it is nice to get players come to us, but still feel bad for their supporters.
