My point was (which Scorpus avoided) that if Ricciuto is to blame for that, then so is back-to-back championship winner Phil Smyth and premiership winner, James Podsiadly.

Again. This finger-pointing at Roo has no direct evidence. Bah, humbug.

takes a piss and cracks another beer
They are.

I asked what he did wrong EXACTLY. I got nothing.

I suggest you stick to sexual amusing quips.

I’m happy to go right back to that after I expose how fraudulent and agenda-driven your posting is.

Ricciuto is an unelected member of a majority-unelected board which presides over a club with a protracted record of complete dysfunction and an extended period of underperformance.

He’s also part of a board which had to pay out the contract of the last coach and head of football (and not a single board member was held accountable for anything that happened under that regime).

And now, the board has presided over the current coach being re-signed for two more years after he’s coached five consecutive years out of the eight.

I have nothing against Ricciuto personally. He’s a great bloke. And yes, an absolute club legend.

But on what f*cking planet should he and the rest of that board not be under the hammer?

Yeah but you see there's no direct evidence someone on the board makes decisions relating to the club and is responsible for the successes and failures of the club

They are.

But they picked the best coach who met the brief. The issue is not the 2019 appointment of Nicks or his first contract extension in 2022. Its his current extension and who made the decision. Ive been asking this question for 9 months and not one person can give an answer. Its not Roo. We can tell this because everything is different about it. Roo has not said a word from what I can tell at all about this decision. So who did it, thats the crime and blaming roo for pre 2019 stuff is meaningless to solving our current issue.

Where are you drinking tonight?
Ask your mum.

So, what did Mark Ricciuto do exactly? My voice is getting hoarse.

If you don’t know who extended his contract how can you say it’s not Roo? Where’s your proof that the football director didn’t agree with re-signing Nicks?

This is just too funny that you blokes don’t want to judge the performance of the football director in relation to on field performance and key appointments. What do you actually think he does? He’s argued against every shit decision and been overruled? If that’s the case why is he the football director?

Clearly the board is at fault. But you dont need a unanimous vote for a decision to occur. Which means we need to know who on the board voted for Nicks extension. If Roo is on the list then 100% go to town. But it was kept silent, the club never revealed the boards position, just that a decision was made. They would have said a unanimous vote if it was one. Everything points more to an Olsen lead decision based on his want to get out in front of the cameras and talk Nicks and footy.

What makes all this worse is that people on boards are supposed to face judgement day from the stakeholders.

In the case of football clubs: it’s members.

That doesn’t happen at the AFC.

These people just roll on, from one f*ck up to the next. Never facing an election to justify their position. If they did, none of this would be nearly as bad. Most of them wouldn’t even be there anymore.

You have to ask yourself who would even desire to sit on a board that isn’t accountable to its members…and up until very recently, did not even have term limits?

People with massive f*cking egos, that’s who.

Why else would you have told us you’re up to 15 beers other than to lay an excuse for your posting in the morning? ;) Surely not to act cool?
Um…because I’m more honest than your underwear. You keep alluding to me being drunk. I’m still here. Intellectually present. Does that offend you? Do you want to slink off and make sly remarks on the side again?

Only a pissed cool wannabe would refer to themselves as Intellectually present and you should really let others make that judgement, but there’s no proof ;)
