Yes I should’ve been more specific by football I meant AFL level.

Pitman would be one of the handful of former players I’d trust that would actually be knowledgeable, objective and progressive without being elitist, patronising, insular, self indulgent & overly jobs for the boys matey-matey.

There’s no way Roo goes quietly before completing his 12 years. He’ll be banking on an upward trend so he can lay claim to leaving the group on the right path.

Even if things don’t go well and Nicks gets sacked this year he’ll try to sweep under the rug the fact that he was the one that hired him and yet make note how it was just as well he stayed around for the extra 12 months so someone experienced & who’s been through this before could go through the selection process for the next coach.

What do you mean "as well", he's asking me to apologise because I said making it anti-female issue was a credibility issue of mine. CrowToon is the onky poster throwing around bias accusations and then claiming otherwise. Takes a special kind of person.

I'm not asking you to apologise, I'm asking you to withdraw a comment you made on my behalf. I didn't deny I believe there is a bias against Kellie. I don't necessarily believe it is purely because she is female. It's more of a mob bias, similar to that suffered by David Mackay and Lachie Murphy (people love to pile on). I didnt suggest it was a credibility issue in making it. But it's certainly a poor reflection of you if you want to put words in peoples mouths and then not be willing to withdraw them when told you've missed the mark.

Again, Im not asking you to retract because of the anti-women comment - you could've said it was anti-caucasian or whatever and I'd still ask you to retract. It boils down to words in my mouth.

If this is all too much for you that's not on me to keep re-explaining.

I've said now multiple times I am happy to disagree with people on this. Plenty have quoted me to inform me she is rubbish. I'm comfy being in the minority.

Sorry but if a commentator makes a listener/watcher want to turn off the sound I can’t see how they can be classified as great?

Not sure what type of wage they are on but I would guess it’s fairly good coin - to get that they should prepare before games do the preparation. She makes multiple mistakes each and every week on players names, club names and rules.

Isn’t the point that numerous commentators get picked on mercilessly, so drawing an anti-female agenda because she’s a woman might be a little simplistic. I can’t stand her doing play by play purely because of her voice, but I’d say the same if they gave Roo a shot at it. Come to think of it, I can’t stand JB either, there’s a smugness to his voice. Which I could handle if there wasn’t so much of it during a broadcast.
