I’m talking about the posters who like this trade. He will be their whipping boy before may.

Yep it was only 4 years ago he was AA Great pick up at 28 years old. Posters complaining that we need experience don't worry about the draft and when we do get a few in still winge. I'm always big on the draft but can see what they are trying to do. We will still get a gun player if we don't split and if we do probably 2 gun players .

How do you know those deals weren't offered and the Dogs said they wanted picks this year?

In theory the trades you suggested made sense but not if the Dogs said not an option. Now you're response may well be to walk away but if the club believes that they paid slight overs but have other pick swaps that can balance it out overall?

We might have lost a bit on this deal but can make it up with other deals? Or perhaps then club believes adding your man Konstany to the Parker deal makes the two trades overall even.

Overpay for Daniel but not enough to get angry about or lose any sleep.

I'm not sure on the overpaid bit.

Injury permitting, Daniel's a likely top 5 B&F finisher next year.

I wouldn't have expected that from Tucker/Fisher/CCJ/ Stephens who we paid a similar price for.

I wonder if we overrate the draft outside the First round tbh.

on trade #6 to Gws #15 , #16 , #21

North end up with #15 , #16 , #18 , #21

We'd want more than 6 and 18.

We definitely overpaid for Daniel, I don't dispute that.

But he is a good player and he does make us better. His kicking is a point of difference and allows us to actually keep the footy in transition which helps both phases, which we have struggled with for ages

You're kidding aren't you. The way Brady negotiates you could probably fleece our #2 for your 3 picks the 20's, with a future 3rd coming back your way!

I hate to agree with Barratt but we had the picks we had - sounds like they’ve been trying to get different picks but weren’t able to, so here we are. Big upgrade on what we had so we welcome him and move on.

We do need to spread pick 2, more than we did before.

Yup, and every club knows it. BOB(Bend Over Brady) will accept some garbage deal for it.

For all the people saying CD couldn't make the best 22 of the WB, here's a wake up call for you. There would be less than 10 players on our list this year that would have got a game for the WB in 2024.
