Peatling prior to that game was getting midfield mins so yes the pushing out of the mid has already started it seems

he really only got a shot in there when cogs was missing a few rounds

St Kilda making a huge mistake publicly declaring their interest in Merrett. It was always clear he won't be going anywhere, all it does it creates the North look for St Kilda - chasing everyone, getting nobody.

Unfortunately for this offseason at least I can’t see us attracting anyone with great value. It’s why Darling might be the best we can do. It’s not a great reality but it is what it is. Potentially a few delisted players might be upgrades so we should still look at all options.

Saints are desperate for midfield depth. He’ll be a starting mid for them in every game next year. He’d be behind LDU, Harry and George minimum for us.
