Rubbish is a tad harsh. I do recall that No 10, I think Cunnington was his name has played a not too insignificant role in LDU's development.Exactly. Take our lord and savior LDU for example.
Extremely talented kid. Came to us and was rubbish.
LDU attributes his improvement to someone outside of the club giving him some direction. You know why it took someone outside of the club? Because no one in the club had the experience to straighten the kid out. No one was confident enough in their own ability or leadership to pull his head in.
Who was the person outside the club. Doesn't he rave about Ben C everytime he talks.Exactly. Take our lord and savior LDU for example.

So do you think Ben has had a influence on his career.G. Healey?
I don't know. But that's not the point. So which A grader is realistically coming to us. Do you believe Dan will be playing with us next year
We take the highly rated draftees if the only alternatives are c-graders. Of course. No one is arguing otherwise. If he chooses not to come to us what do we do pick c graders or pick highly rated kids.
My thoughts exactly. He had a great 6-7 game stretch. It's his first year being any good and he's a 192cm forward.I dunno about that move.. I dont think Waterman is going to be a consistent performer. Ballsy. But I guess contracts mean **** all these days.
World has gone mad!One good year = a million dollar a year deal
I don't know. But that's not the point.
If there's a proven a-grader available in a position of need, you grab them over the lottery of the draft, unless there's an obvious generational prospect within your grasp.

Don't understand how this is relevant in a convo about Houston tho.
Thats what we are trying to do isn't it We apparently offered our 1st for Dan Its not like we are not trying to get in A grade talent and just looking at the draft.I don't know. But that's not the point.

Yeah. Maybe I was working under the mistaken apprehension you were arguing against trading for a-graders. Because there's been a few espousing that view here. Apologies if you weren't.Our future 1st i mean.
Tigers after Tsatas?
I thought people were saying we were trying to get Parker to play a role as a big bodied midfielder to help Sheezel , Jy , Ldu & & wardlaw ?Yeah. I'm a big fan of Luke, but he was pushed out of Sydney's mids this year because he doesn't have enough running power to keep up anymore. If we bring him in, it shouldn't be to spend much time in the midfield, that is behind him. I think he could still be useful, but playing in a minor role.
Keep banging. We went into this season without a game plan. Yes, 'Northball', I know. But we can't shoot Clarko just yet. But we should acknowledge that it could have been a bigger issue than a lack of senior players to teach our kids how to play 'Northball'.FK me. Feel like banging my head against a wall. Kids can’t lead kids. Kids can’t develop kids.
Jy has won 26% of his career games.

We are a team of losers. We don’t have the knowledge or behaviours required to win footy.
Houston, parker, Daniel all from footy programs that are playing September footy.
An 18 year old kid in the draft isn’t going to fill the biggest ****ing gap we have. The experience of what it takes to win games of footy.
All good mate obviously not against getting A graders but there still has to be a good balance between trading in players and going to the draft to keep bring in the kids.Yeah. Maybe I was working under the mistaken apprehension you were arguing against trading for a-graders. Because there's been a few espousing that view here. Apologies if you weren't.
That is clearly an issue. I'm not a big fan of getting him but he does have a healthy dose of mongrel. I imagine he would play as a centre bounce mid then go forward, probably in a nullifying role on most dangerous defender. He obviously wouldn't be used in transition.I thought people were saying we were trying to get Parker to play a role as a big bodied midfielder to help Sheezel , Jy , Ldu & & wardlaw ?
If it’s just to play a role like he’s playing now for the swans as a deep half forward then forget about it…
I mean , How many more mid slow half forwards do we need ?

It's more than that. Training standards and leadership. Parker isn't gonna mince words and will push them to reach higher standards. Gameday he'll help organise structure in the middle or up forward as the players obviously don't know what to do when the heat is on.I thought people were saying we were trying to get Parker to play a role as a big bodied midfielder to help Sheezel , Jy , Ldu & & wardlaw ?

I don't think most people are saying just get kids. It's don't get C graders like Fisher and Stephens. Please repost every 6-12 hours until the end of trade period.
It’s mind numbing to think getting more kids is going to help.
Is Ben still out there? lol.So do you think Ben has had an influence on his career.
Because the draft is a lottery at the end of the day and we could draft a spud. Why wouldn't i pluck out those 4 players.
