For an enormous haul that Nifty then spunked up the wall.

Although tbf it was a pretty awful top ten that year, outside of picks 1 and 3. Getting Burgoyne and Kerr along with Sinclair would have been nice though
Always look back at that weird run of events.

Losing Bell = bad

Getting 6, 8, 37 and steak knives (Sinclair) for Bell = pretty good

Denis trading 37 for Olarenshaw = self inflicted cockpunch

5 years later net return for Bell being Sinclair and nothing else = pretty shit

And I liked Sinclair.

But the pick 8 was Daniel Motlop right, who was traded for a pick that became Matt Riggio and Andrew Swallow. So let's call it even.

Never tracked it that far good pickup.

Bell for Sinclair and Swallow. Yeh closer to parity you're right.

I noticed that Carlton are contemplating not putting another contract in front of Jack Martin. He has had some injury problems but is a classy, versatile player who could still have a lot to offer.
I, like many others believe that the idea of trading in Luke Parker would be a great idea to add some hardness and experience.
Has anyone considered the possibility of looking at Taberner from Freo as support for Larkey? While being far from the best key forward around, he would come cheap, is a professional on the track and be better than what we have on our list currently.
As far as available free agents go, I think Isaac Cumming would be a good option with his size and skill on a wing or halfback.

We simply have to get Isaac Cumming.

5 year deal.

Only because it means we'd have the core of our double entendres in place for 5 years.

"Not content with the lead Clarkson subbed off Stephens and started Cumming" etc.

He's a great runner but made some howlers on the weekend. But I guess for the potential reviews - I. Cumming ... well actually after that performance I not!!! etc etc it'll be worth it.

So we could pick him up in the PTSD and pretend we walked him?

It would actually negligent not to recruit him.

These opportunities to get players like Dick, Swallow, Cumming, Sporn don't pop up very often.

About sums it up. 13 landing Harris wasn't too bad. Probably never going to be a star but he was okay. 6 and 8 was a wasted drunken weekend.

Fairly robust performance, he was best afield in a losing team and evidence like that is far more valuable than someone who could amass 50 possession in a dominantly winning team.

Best afield? What game were you watching? He wouldn't have been in the top 15 players on the ground

He's a medium-high possession, low impact, wing with pretty poor turnover stats.

Pretty much all his CP's are loose groundballs.

He's basically Bailey Scott.
