The Roos have been open to splitting the pick for another top-10 selection and a future first-round choice, while the Eagles have dangled their top choice in a mix of trade possibilities as they look to boost their draft hand whilst also securing trade target Liam Baker.

Would we swap 7&8 for Eagles pick?

Jumped over to norfs board to ask them this and they seemed generally accepting of NM 2,24 for STK 7,8.

Obviously none of them keen on just STK 7,26 for NM 2

So maybe STK F1 paired with 7 for NM 2,24 would be a great balance for both clubs.

Pick 2 still feels like we have a chance at Lalor despite recent reports. Otherwise Smith or Draper are both very worthy of moving up.

We're in a good spot so no need to make changes unless it's clearly advantageous.
I'd want to move our 2nd into the top 20 as part of any deal. It'll be about p30 on draft night and isn't to be ignored as a valuable asset.
So: 8, 26, F1st
For: 2, & 20
= 2, 7, 20
I still think thats a bad outcome against 7, 8, 26, F1st.

It would be 8 and Future 1st. Pick 7 is staying with us.

Colac has tonight announced former St Kilda star Seb Ross as co-coach of the club,

The Tigers have beaten out Leopold for the signature of the 31-year-old, who was delisted after 211 games in 13 seasons with the Saints last month.

Ross was confirmed as joining the club at Colac’s presentation night this evening.

Looks like Seb was ready to move on,

I think 2,7 & 22 is a pretty good outcome. If we want these top draftees to come in and be developed then they need to get games in. The more we take over the next two years the harder that is to do. We played every draftee last year which helped their development.

Christ wtf is with the lions supporters on the main board.
Team wins a flag
President at another club makes some rather good points during a speech
Seethe over said president and said club
Forgets that they won a flag

Is Tomlinson out becuase he didn't want to come or becuase we didn't want him?
We'll never know.
My belief is that we have enough options to replace Battle and it's not seen as a critical issue internally. Mac Lobster and Soldo are the important deals to get through.
Also suggestions that we might have SSP options requires a list spot be kept available.

It's not a bad outcome at all, but l can't see enough difference between the various pick 2 candidates and the various pick 8 candidates to justify burning a F1stRDP, especially if there's a possibility of just swapping it for another FRDP this year.
Recruiters will have their own ideas. They might see Draper as their No1 target and calculate that pick 7 will still be another player they want.
There's appeal in that Draper would play round 1 so I wouldn't complain about it that's for sure.

I’d rather go after essendons pick 9.

26 + Future First for pick 9.

gives us 7+8+9.

No way I’m doing that trade.

Essendon board isn’t very nice. They seem to think we would pay overs to help the get two first rounds this year. SOS will bid on kako. They will have to come to the party
