not for mine, has pace, can take a mark and a great kick at goal but only plays 5-10 minutes a match, goes missing for the rest. He's also 33.I feel I’ll likely get shot down, but I’d absolutely look at Rohan. Unless his head is cooked but I’m sure I’ve read he wants to go on. Has plenty of pace to burn so even as a low accumulator the pressure he brings I think would be worth a look.
Apologise if already discussed as well
I can understand your reasoning, but we really should be getting games into Moir.I feel I’ll likely get shot down, but I’d absolutely look at Rohan. Many have Kemp as a walk up starter up there as well.I can understand your reasoning, but we really should be getting games into Moir.

I reckon we would have probably gone harder at a few DFAs but spots this year are limited. If we grab every delisted player that fits our needs in some way we're going to need a lot more spots
Rohan is exactly the sort of player we need in our forward line. Reads the game, genuine forward, proven talent, specialise half forward flank, good overhead elite at ground level.I feel I’ll likely get shot down, but I’d absolutely look at Rohan. Why Cinc? He plays a valuable role, has pace, penetrating kick, tough as nails, can break lines & kicked ass as a stopper. The big watch for me heading into this season is our internal growth.
If the youth can stand up it really opens up our options and creates great list depth and structure.
I'd be hoping that O'Keeffe (first ruck) and Lemmey (key fwd/second ruck) can make big gains this year, so they are trusted as the back ups to TDK and Harry in 2026, thus making Pittonet expendable.
Another is Motlop pushing past Williams as the best deep small forward option. This will help our list balance and may potentially open up a final year salary dump trade on Williams.
Another is Lord pushing past Cincotta for that defensive half forward and mid rotation. Cincotta was great there late in the season when he played, and Lord showed great promise in his 2 matches. Challenge should be laid down.
At the moment my very early crow for 2025 is:
- Fantasia out, Tyson Gresham (NGA) in
- Pittonet out (if above is met), Jack Ison (NGA) in
1 more delisting needed to upgrade Cincotta and replace with a rookie, let alone any FA/trade acquisitions. Plenty to play out still obviously.
I think you misread. Why Cinc? He plays a valuable role, has pace, penetrating kick, tough as nails, can break lines & kicked ass as a stopper.
IMO Lord takes Hewetts spot from day 1, our mid field needs an update, Lord & pick 3 does that.
Cinc also has one other quality - he never stops trying! Doesn’t drop his head, just keeps at it & gives his all every single time.
Yep, think your rightI think you misread.
Cincotta will need to be elevated to the senior list in 13 months time.
Yep, projecting, if TDK has the year most of us expect, Pitto will only get spasmodic senior game time. Should O’Keeffe and to a lesser extent Lemmey develop as they probably should given they will be in their third years, Pitto could become surplus, and almost certainly and rightfully would seek senior opportunity elsewhere. The status of Lewis Young may have some impact here. Young is a capable ruck when deployed there. His chances of surviving the cut in 2025 could well be dependent on his versatility. While we will be looking to make list spots available at season’s end, the same will be the case at the end of ‘26.The big watch for me heading into this season is our internal growth.

Reckon there will be a fair few players that could be traded depending on the circumstances.Yep, projecting, if TDK has the year most of us expect, Pitto will only get spasmodic senior game time. Most of us would have Fantasia as a delisting post ‘25, Pitto becomes quite a logical trade option. Further cuts will be prioritised through the year. Doc, Saad, McGovern and Newman as the elder statesmen, some of whom have and still do have injury issues as well as developing players a chance to go past them. Haynes only on a one year deal and as old as any will need a stellar year to extend. Kempy had suitors so form dependent, may become a trade option (heaven forbid) and it remains to be seen how/if Voss will use JSOS. Do Lemmey and/or Wilson come on as hoped?
Ison as a third tall, perhaps even getting to KPP size is an interesting prospect, surely more likely than not to be taken up. Gresham has played some prominent Coates League games as an underager, despite being a midget. If he manages a growth spurt to take him to similar physical stature as his big brother, he will likely become highly sought after, but clearly plays a role we almost certainly would want to upgrade. As mentioned Cincotta will need an upgrade to remain, which surely would be desired.
We maybe need a fourth vacancy for a draft or trade/ free agency addition, but there appear to be sufficient avenues to do this.
Only thing I can think of is that there is still a pick trade in play, and they want to see what happens with that?I would have expected announcements on the Carrolls and Durdin by now.
With our first pick at the draft likely to be in the late 30s, I don't see us making as many changes next year as we have this year. With a few NGA/F-S options, we may just stick to those (Ison most likely, Gresham, and then Clarke, Harvey Allan, Charlie Beaumont, Harry Dean, Archer Hogg). Most of those aren't likely based on the underage season, but who knows. The big watch for me heading into this season is our internal growth.

Could be waiting on another club in case someone of interest becomes available?Only thing I can think of is that there is still a pick trade in play, and they want to see what happens with that?
If I was in the players shoes I'd want to know as soon as possible. Pretty poor from the club to wait this long imo.Only thing I can think of is that there is still a pick trade in play, and they want to see what happens with that?
Have till 31st, but that's also the cut off for delisted players to nominate for the draft(s), so you'd think that they'd give any delisted players the opportunity to do so.
I'd think the players concerned know where they standPretty poor from the club to wait this long imo.
If they’ve kept the players updated on what’s happening, then i couldnt care less. I imagine they are professional enough to understand the businessIf I was in the players shoes I'd want to know as soon as possible. Pretty poor from the club to wait this long imo.
Yeah most clubs have been doing it over the last few days.I would have expected announcements on the Carrolls and Durdin by now.
Yep they would know for sure. The fact it hasn't been announced has nothing to do with whether the players know.If they’ve kept the players updated on what’s happening, then i couldnt care less. I imagine they are professional enough to understand the business
Who cares if he is or isn't when Tom Clurey is the player we are concerned about? It just serves as obfuscation.Who says Zerk Thatcher is a spud. What's that? Everybody? Oh, OK then.
