The real crime is that Sean Abbott has an international half century.
Commentators have been mentioning his batting has improved last couple of season.

I didnt get to see the ton he made in the County cricket but it was one of the quicker ones made over there in 2023.

Also bigfooty

"I've got a narrative in my head I want to get out despite it having nothing to do with what I'm quoting. Doesn't matter. I'll make up a conversation that didn't happen so I can say my piece."
Literally wants to drop a 21 year old on debut when he was no doubt told to bat the way he did by the team :tearsofjoy: okay dude, you clearly have your finger on the pulse when it comes to team building

Lara is such a boring commentator. Probably my all time favourite batsman but just isn't of any value behind the mic

Would you prefer Langer or Hayden

Got to remember a cricket ball is probably travelling at 100km/hr+ if not more................its also not if that fan didnt have eyes on the ball as well.

Hope the fan is well but a bit of heart and love is a small price to pay from Cricket Australia to that fan.

Yeah would hurt like hell...but not going at 100mph once it hits a spectator.....maybe 20mph

No they havent.

Sports coverages in the past year or so tend to steer away from gruesome injuries. Think of the AFL, when they cover their games, rarely do you see repeats of ACL done to knees. Its to avoid scaring away the viewers. In some instances, i have seen after horrific injuries, its made me hard to swallow my dinner .

Edit: They showed 1 repeat. and the initial live ball. (2 times all up)

In past decades, im pretty sure TVs would have shown that 5-6 times.
