SDK asking for a trade now

I don’t think so.
He got injured at the wrong time, and as much as I’m a huge fan of SDK and his long term potential as an elite CHB/Ruck, his form post 2022 has not ensured an automatic Best 22 spot.
He may well play in the GF , if we get through, depending on match-ups and injuries. Or if Stanley gets a drubbing (if that happens, we probably lose anyway). But this is AFL. It’s a cut-throat race for spots at the highest level.

Not surprised with that selection
With Stewart guaranteed to return, you could only fit 2 of Bews, Mullin and Touhy into the team.

Touhy probably gets in as sub if there wasn't specific defensive roles the other 2 can fill

I just want to be on the record of saying that I like us better with Tuohy in the side..

But MC obviously know best...

It's sort of sad. Played his last ten minutes last week, looks like, so my image of him on the bench cheering a goal with Paddy.

That final against Port, Mullin ( who at times just shows a glint of Wojos athletic ability ) but there was a passage of play in the 1st half , and Thomas the commentator called in brilliantly , he said Mullin showed great athletic ability to get in front of the pack and knock the ball down , however then JHF kicked a freak P Daicos type dribbling boundary line goal

So the ex prem player/commentator gave good credit to Mullin in that passage of play , where as quite a few mug supporters would have said Mullin was badly beaten in that passage of play
At the time, I remember feeling bad for Mullin because he had done everything right both positionally and in the contest from a horrible position under the ball no small defender wants to find themselves in only for JHF to recover quicker and dribble a nice goal. Mullin is a nuisance who won't go away which we can use to full effect tomorrow night

I took the comment as tongue in cheek, and relating back to a few things that have been discussed in the trade thread

The passage on the wing where he kept the ball moving through about four Poort players and out the other end was just as impressive. Kids a beast with jets can’t believe some just don’t see it.
I'm surprised but happy that Mullin was chosen ahead of Tuohy.

Me and CHAWKTS have said all year that our best side in 2024 only has one of Duncan and Tuohy (no points for guessing which one I've backed). But there were doubts over whether the MC would make the move. In the end I thought they may settle on Tuohy as sub like the QF. Mullin's good game must have swung it.

Now the debate will rage over the sub decision. It looks like it's going to be out of Duncan and Mullin. There's logic to both options. Mullin has been better than Duncan as sub when chosen, but it's such a small sample size.

Is SDK even an emergency? Wow.

Obviously his days as a defender are over and he will be a ruck from now on. (or traded)

Interesting the shorter quicker back line given the opposition forward line. I hope the ball flies in under pressure and their talls don't get too many good looks.
Talk about an overreaction. They are just going with a settled defence. Blicavs has kept SDK out of defence and Stanley has kept him out of ruck.

Poor timing with SDK's injury.

Bews all over Charlie Cameron...

Why would you trade out someone SDKs age because he got injured and is now being kept out of the side by 2 guys right at the end of their careers.

You just tell him he was unlucky this year but that position is his for a long time, he just has to take it
