Nah, not neccesarily, both snicko and the visual frames are just 1/30 of a second snapshots.

The chances they are precisely aligned is very low, and even then, that snicko "frame" represent all the time of 1/30 of a second, not just an instantaneous moment (ie saying the freeze frame shows a gap - the instantaneous moment of that freeze frame could align with one side of the snicko frame, where the line is flat)

And hotspot has been shown to be non-perfect

I understand your point, but the spike was 'wide' and right in the middle of the "next" frame... usually it's within half a frame (e.g. on the left or right of the subsequent or preceding frame)... it doesn't indicate an edge on the previous frame to me...
