Hahahaha, yes, so quick to bag that clown Eddie the migrant Smith, I quoted the wrong post.He replied to the wrong person
At least I hope he did
Yeah but snicko picks up other noisesBat and ball both nowhere near pad
Except that the two visions show a gap between bat and ball when they meet. Good theory though.Nah, not neccesarily, both snicko and the visual frames are just 1/30 of a second snapshots.
The chances they are precisely aligned is very low, and even then, that snicko "frame" represent all the time of 1/30 of a second, not just an instantaneous moment (ie saying the freeze frame shows a gap - the instantaneous moment of that freeze frame could align with one side of the snicko frame, where the line is flat)
And hotspot has been shown to be non-perfect
They meet the frame before that gapExcept that the two visions show a gap between bat and ball when they meet. Good theory though.
They only have to be out of sync by 1/30 of a second for this to occur.I understand your point, but the spike was 'wide' and right in the middle of the "next" frame... usually it's within half a frame (e.g. on the left or right of the subsequent or preceding frame)... it doesn't indicate an edge on the previous frame to me...
Nor hot spot, nor hawkeye, nor the umpires, or commentators or even the players themselves. You wouldn't want snicko sending you to the gallows
How was that given lol
Are you claiming that there were zero still frames showing ball and bat with no gap?Except that the two visions show a gap between bat and ball when they meet. Good theory though.
