Don’t get the stubbornness from Cummins not to play the spinner.

The later he leaves it, the more difficult it will be for Murph to actually get into the game.

Shafted him last innings by playing him late into a firing Stokes. Just don’t get the reluctance here when the ball still isn’t doing a great deal.

Could also be that Root is up the other end and plays the off spin very very well

Lyon has done extremely well for what he is but I don’t think it’s realistic to expect another one of him. Would rather a spinner that has a few more tricks, not another one paced finger spinner

Don't mind Cummins on, would have been him over Starc for me. With Murphy tried at the other end, its a gamble but one that needs to be taken now if at all. I get the feeling Cummins doesn't want to bowl him at Root though.

I got more turn with the new ball bowling for Victoria, but it's a waste if the ball is spinning. And cummins should probably have had his man second ball this over.
