I'm not sure if I posted on that part specifically but I did post criticism of some of Trump's pardons, yes.

Obviously Trump pardoning for pay is corrupt, but you can't cling to the rule book and then turn around and call this okay.
We all know as trumps economic policies destroy America, he’ll use the three lettered agencies to go after his enemies to change the news cycle, in many cases the media itself will be targeted and the trumpets will rejoice.
I think it’s only fair that a sitting president protect his son from the incoming psychopaths!
No problem at all, I’d do the same!👍

Interesting that the pardon applies from 1 Jan 2014, the same year Hunter joined the board of Burisma Holdings.

Why is that interesting? If you're going to cynically go back on a promise, it would be the height of stupidity to not ensure the pardon is fully effective.

You guys have been given a free hit to highlight Biden's hypocrisy, but now you're focusing on the details that add nothing further. A bit pathetic, really.

Biden's a massive campaigner for sitting around while the conventions democratic systems were obviously dismantled and did ****ing nothing hoping sense would prevail only to bend only for his kid. Probably redeems him slightly as a dad while ignoring Rome burning.

Still, comedy bonus for bringing out all our ******* reactionaries for a bonus round of self-debasing. We see you and appreciate your service to us.

I can’t honestly understand the purpose of this function of government in the US. It’s so anachronistic and prone to misuse.
What I find most interesting is Bidens statement on this. He sites the perceived injustice of Hunter facing felony charges for something hardly ever tried as a felony.
it’s interesting because similarly this is what occurred to get Trump to face charges this year over the stormy Daniel’s/book keeping charges. Almost never tried as a felony only as a misdemeanour, but given the issues around SOL significant legal gymnastics were required to get him to face felony charges.

Just interesting.

Trump pardoned all his goons like Bannon last time, and a family member in Kushners dad.

Basic premise is the rich and powerful never face consequences for their actions. Ginsberg delayed everything with Trump as he never really wanted to do anything, whole system is about protecting the rich and powerful.

Pardons are total BS anyway. Like you can pardon anyone you like but people clutch pearls when someone is pardoned which is questionable even though they’re able to.

The idea anyone has any moral outrage on the right over Biden is absurd, it’s all political point scoring. If they cared about norms/precedent and decorum, wtf do they support trump. Hint: they don’t care or give a ****.

I’d have Joe Biden charged for war crimes and free Hunter, but that’s just me.

So you are saying you think Pardons are BS which I agree with, but you agree with Hunter being pardoned?

F*** me, what Biden did was pathetically hypocritical but at least understandable, and it pales against all of the scumbags that Trump pardoned for cash.

All the Trumpies here are creaming themselves because they've finally got something of substance to criticise Biden about, when they've spent years denying and defending Trump's shit.

Demonstrating your abject hypocrisy yet again is not "owning the libs".

Pardons are a corrupt business. Just because Trump is a corrupt, moraless twat doesn't mean Biden had to stoop to that level. I don't believe Hunter to be a bad person but he was found guilty of crimes albeit fairly soft. Out of control in that country- Trump will go on a pardon spree. What a great country :(

What a bizarre thing a "Pardon" is. Am i to understand Hunter could have murdered someone in that 10 year period and not be convicted of it
We can all agree that pardons are ridiculous. For the record I'm disappointed in Joe.

I feel for you “vote blue no matter who” types.

This action shows the Democrat Party is no different to those awful, corrupt, contemptuous Republicans.

They might be even worse.

Who could have seen this coming? Oh well.
They must be worse.

Any sensible politician should pardon murderers for money, so they can go on and commit more violent crimes, and be re arrested.

Do you think he gets a bulk discount next time?

Now that Hunter has been pardoned, he can still be summoned for Senate enquiry's. He can't take the 5th because he can't incriminate himself. He can incriminate his partners including the "Big Guy".

At some point the republicans need to stop with the sham inquiries. After the shambolic waste of time and money that was the impeachment inquiry, where Biden was completely exonerated as soon as they dropped it, the republicans should get back to governing.

LOL. The only cheerleaders here are dyed-in-the-wool Liberal voters who think that means they also have to support Trump.

Which is a braindead position to take, of course. But that's their choice.

PS - I've never voted Labor in my life.

How many fathers would spare their son from Jail if you had the power to?

Joe has nothing to lose now. While is a disgrace many would do the same.
The oath each president recite should make you separate yourself from personal affairs such as criminal charges regarding a child of yours. However, I mean it's already outragoues that a convicted felon will lead the USA so yeah I guess why not.
