Would have averaged 60 without the runouts...


I remember him making a century about every 4 tests, and nothing in between...

We don’t need an all rounder, they just need to rotate bowlers between tests. Another batsman is needed for exactly the situation here

Webster's first-class form - over several seasons - justifies him being included as a batsman alone.

His bowling (and catching) is just a bonus.

Then hit 40 in 20 minutes after lunch before getting out. After than his career just disintegrated really badly.

Batting beautifully. Looking busy and supporting Smith who has been in sublime touch. If he can get 25-30 Australia 6 down for 300 ar stumps still well on top.

For the Aus top four all scoring 40+ the most recent I found was the 1st innings of the 1st Test in Rawalpindi, March 2022.
68 the minimum, and no hundreds.




Pakistan had come close to the top four all getting 40 earlier themselves.
