Anyone else wonder wtf we gonna do when Lyon, Starc and Hazlewood are gone in 2 years?
Lyon has Murphy and Rocchiccioli
The pacemen are anyone's guess aside from Bartlett. Richardson breaks down a lot, O'Neill is decent but slow and doesn't have the McGrath accuracy to compensate

I know Lyon isn't looking threatening at all but I've never seen Murphy turn the ball a millimetre
I thought he bowled beautifully in India, and has a great arm ball. Which got Kohli once at least.

Accuracy is the most important thing to learn, spin you can develop.

He should get the gig upon Lyon’s retirement, unless a once in a lifetime player jumps out.

He hasn’t even been the best domestic spinner this year.

The pitch is not doing much it’s true but we’ve had a pitch in Perth that was lively for a day and a half and neither team could handle it then flattened out, a pitch in Adelaide that India couldn’t handle, only really Travis head and to an extent Marnus could handle.

Again in Brisbane it was fairly bowler friendly and only Head found it ‘easy’ - Smith had to fight for every run for the first 4 hours he was out there and it was only at the back end of their innings that Jadeja found form along with Rahul.

They don’t all have to be lively all the way through though admittedly this one is a bit turgid
