??
There’s been 20 after this one, Australia bowled 4, and play started at 10, so there’s a 2 over change-over. There have been two reviews, and a physio was called out to tend to Konstas’ arm. That’s 26 in 2 hours and 10 minutes. It’s still sub-par but with those factors it’s not disastrous
Cant believe I forgot we bowled 4 ,getting old !!!

They really need to start being consistent and fair with that count down timer.

It needs to be on screen for every ball that hits pads, and as soon as it's dead, not after they bring together a team meeting, and then throw up 15 seconds..
The time officially starts when the ball becomes dead. The clock on the screen is not the official clock.

First innings fair enough but it is game on again now and as I said if you’ve been copping it every time you touch the ball it is going to be hard not to bite back at some point. It’s not on the same scale as sending someone off when they’ve made 140
Sriaj copping it is entirely of his own making.
He made the choice to send off head after he made 140.
Don't send off a bloke after making 140 he doesn't cop it.

Than create bad balls by taking a few risks, come down the pitch a bit move to leg or the offside etc.
And find ourselves 4-60 and be a real chance to lose? Nah.

We have seen the batting gets easier, and the bowlers will eventually tire. Put in the hard work now and get the rewards in the later overs.

I would rather sydney and konstas start to get tests together before the ashes

lets face it the pace of archer and wood ...ussie getting on 39 for the ashes.....not for me
What suggests Sydney will be any better? If we are picking an opener for the future i would gamble on someone else before him.

Also odds on Archer/Wood playing many of those tests?

We tried to score fast in Brisbane and ended up 7/89. There is still a good chance of losing this if we don't set them 300+. And even 350 is chasable.

If we can get 200 in front with some recognised batsmen in then we can start thinking about setting them 300-350 if we want to win this.
I wouldn't even think about trying to score quickly until we're at least 250 in front.

And even then I'd be looking long and hard at the clock.

We can lose the series here, but we can't win it here.

Sometimes living to fight another day is perfectly acceptable.
