Does Australia need a new batting coach? These guys don’t know how to move there feet.
Poor choice by Smith. Should know better. Should of left the ball. Too wide.

Don't agree. A drawn series means WTC final.
Yes, just a terrible cricket shot, especially from someone who has made nearly 10,000 Test runsFor somebody who has a habit of wandering all over the batting crease, there was a pathetic lack of any foot movement in that dismissal.
It was a plan to counter Bumrah and was backed in by the coaches .I wonder how much that first innings was a bit of an insight into his ‘coping mechanisms’ for want of a better term, for when things are tough at the crease?
So he goes out there, Bumrah has him in trouble first over. His immediate default - and admittedly it worked at that stage - was to go completely unorthodox and not just be aggressive but totally off the wall with the shots he was playing.
So does he have another default mode to go into when he’s up against it (that’s a genuine question, I’ve not watched him) where he can leave everything and block a lot, or shelve certain shots until the ball softens etc etc? Or does he need to add some versatility/flexibility to his repertoire. Hes got ability so he could learn that on the run if he doesn’t already have those tools
Australia has made a habit of getting out on trash wide balls. Ashes last year case in pointgetting out to stock standard siraj deliveries is a bit embarrassing
He has survived a very good spell of bowling and added 39 in 89 balls not 100. You are asking what that does for us?The worst thing about Marnus's batting is that even if we wanted a draw we need to score to give a total they can't chase in half a day.
He's not going to bat it out, he's just not good enough, so what does him just sticking around for 100 balls for 39 do for us?
Reckon he will score more than 1 off the next 24 balls. The worst thing about Marnus's batting is that even if we wanted a draw we need to score to give a total they can't chase in half a day.

Highly highly doubt it
With him celebrating as though he's just bowled a jaffergetting out to stock standard siraj deliveries is a bit embarrassing
The second best after Bradman should be able to move his feet and club it against a bloke like Siraj.
Why?Australia would surely rather win the BGT
No, a draw isn't a loss, this is a test matchNo, loser thinking is playing for a draw.
Mind you we may get bowled out today & declaration becomes irrelevant.
Need another Head match changing innings on his birthday.
On cue. He’s goesIndia would love to get Head out cheaply again, he could take this match away from them in a hurry if he gets going.
Thank goodness
Least Head is in
