While he is getting smashed in the nuts he is not going out. Can't get safer than that. Clever tactics...lol.Marnus looking safe? At what? Getting hit in the nuts?
maybe but time to move on for meI think he gets to the wTC.

Or they actually retire him when they head to Sri Lanka. Like in India, we may actually open the innings with Head. Be an interesting combination at the top of the order. Would allow us to bat McSweeney at no.5.Well don't think we will be seeing anymore 100s anymore from ussie might do in Sydney ..but .reckon he will retire after Sydney Luke
What do you do v Bumrah? Either block or be nervy, or try and take him on for runs and apply pressure. That's very limited history given he's only 19-years-old and hasn't been around nearly long enough to even have a need to show if he can adjust his style.
Also Bazball hasn't worked for all Pom batters, but you look at a young guy that comes in and plays an aggressive style with confidence like Brook and it shows it can work if you're good enough.
Meh. Runs on the board is always a good tactic.I meant wearing him down physically. We know he's carried a niggle into the series and we know he's missed time with injury in the last 12-18 months. You want to make him bowl as many overs as possible and tire him out (especially so that if they are bowling on days 3-5 their biggest threat is tanked). While it looks good to bash it around for an hour tactically it's not actually what we need.
One of the great fielders in world cricketlol nice dive Siraj
He wants to play in next year's Ashes.Well don't think we will be seeing anymore 100s anymore from ussie might do in Sydney ..but .reckon he will retire after Sydney Luke
So do I, but I'm 49 and that's not very realistic eitherHe wants to play in next year's Ashes.
So do I, doesn't mean it will happenHe wants to play in next year's Ashes.
I am.listening to SEN commentary and have talked a lot about Konstas but not excessively. It is discussed and so it should be, but talking about so much more. The issue is not konstas its ch7 and foxtel going overboard with the over the top adulation .
Happens every time at the aus open tennis as well

Root himself have changed tack and has reaped the benefits.
**** BazBall and Brook, Warner got a century in a session playing the same aggressive style. It’s nothing new
