This is supposed to be cricket. There is no excuse for players to make physical contact with each other unless it was accidental and in the play. Please don't make excuses for Kohli, he's been doing these things for his entire career.

I grew up watching Holding Garner Marshall Croft Roberts bowling for the West Indies absolutely no let up for batsmen. The batsmen today have such overinflated batting averages with some of the pop gun bowling attacks around the world.

My personal preference is for a large fine payable right away, and a two match wholly suspended suspension.

Very likely, but that won't be for Sydney or Sri Lanka.
Webster seems the obvious choice for Sydney if the selectors insist on an all-rounder. For Sri Lanka, more likely a spin all-rounder if anyone can name one that has actually played FC cricket in recent years.

Chris Green? Ben Manenti?, both pretty good bats. Green is probably too old though but wouldn't be a bad option IMO.
