300-350 would be a tough chase on a last day pitch.

300 in a day wouldn't seem that big an issue unless the pitch breaks up a bit more (a couple jump as I start typing). 330 would probably be batting normally if Pant gets a start.

Australia can only lose the trophy this game, not win it as India can, so I wouldn't be declaring (if that becomes an option) particularly early. Make it chaseable, but difficult.

Was probably ok to bat defensively starting out as new batsman in the shadows of a break, but this is what batting with Marnus does to him these days. There's no strike rotation as the handbrake bats for time, so he bogs down too.
