Been a problem with Australian bowling for a very long time.
Unless it's a new ball Aussie quicks don't get movement through the air, making large parts of the innings difficult to take wickets, especially if the spinner isn't turning it.

Yeah we rely on the shock value of the new ball swinging intermittently irrespective of seam quality.. and then reversing later on .. but in between we rely more on natural variation and bounce. To be fare its a rare skill to present a seam like Jasprit does with pace and accuracy and still bowl dry
