He is. My only problem is that he only ever bats 6 for Tassie. You would normally like batsmen you bring into the test team higher than that in state cricket

He should be batting higher he's better than the middle order they have. Only reason he does is because he bowls alot of overs so they want to give him adequate rest. Where he bats at Tassie has no bearing on his ability to bat a bit further up but he would be needed to bat at 6 so he would just slot straight in.
