If they don't drop Marsh they are effectively saying there are zero other all rounders in Australia
Or batsman since he isn't really an all-rounder anymore. Or cricketers as he is barely that as well

Gavaskar bragging about all the trophies that india have won to an Australian audience. Wild.

Well this trophy is named after both him and Border, he has probably earnt the right to brag, Border doesn't brag as much though.

I think there's something interesting about the trend across all three innings of the bowlers taking wickets in clumps and there being a genuine threat from the tail to hang around and make pivotal runs. India have built their side to bat deep - you can do that when you've got a bloke taking wickets at 19 with a strike rate in the 30's - and we've historically had a tail that enjoyed a bit of a wag, but the degree to which both tails have wagged in this test would be statistically abberrant, one would think.

Ready's not a traditional no.7-8, and Sundar isn't a no.9. Cummins isn't really a traditional 8 either nor is Starc a no.9, even if they closer resemble them than their Indian counterparts.

Might be that we're seeing a change in the sport. More expected from lower order cricketers, considering the level of upper order frailty on display.

Because his names on the trophy it makes sense to brag about the number of trophies theyve won to a team that's won substantally more and beat them in two finals this cycle?

Alrighty.
