Just do it
Marsh out, put McSweeney in his spot.
Konstas down to Head’s spot. Blood the future.
he can argue it, but has no say in the decision. bottom line is if he ran in front of the stumps, from where he was, in that situation, and the throw hit him - it would have been out
We'll probably have two new balls; it's a new-ball pitch... old ball is easier to hitI like seeing Cummins carve Bumrah through the off side for four... but it makes me think we need more than 270
According to the gnome Alfie, “Mitch offers sooo much more to the side than his batting and bowling”.
Could well end up being the difference in the matchCummins has given us 90 runs with the stick this test.
We would be ****ed without him.
When did Langer say that? Surely not today?
That’s ok we don’t have a spinner these days. Please stay the same with steam movement, I can't see spin playing a part on the 5th day.
Too bad our supposed batsmen apart from Marnus couldn't play one. This is a quality knock.
Heavy workload for Bumrah and Siraj today.I like seeing Cummins carve Bumrah through the off side for four... but it makes me think we need more than 270
Alyssa’s commentary has been great imo, but that was total horseshit. No **** off it was a stupid run that was not needed.
Well, it’s not like he’s a spin bowler…As Warney always said, "if it seams, it spins"... too bad Lyon doesn't put much spin on it.
He must be able to carry the bags better than anyone else.According to the gnome Alfie, “Mitch offers sooo much more to the side than his batting and bowling”.
We need to have an eye on the Ashes and I think Sri Lanka becomes the “warm up” for that (although with the way we’re tracking they might be must win games for the WTC).I'm torn with Khawaja. If the next series wasn't in Asia, drop him for sure.
But he made the position his on the slower decks in Pakistan (different to SL, admittedly, much less turn). He might be out of form, or past it, but still useful on slower tracks. Particularly if the options have no experience in Asia. As mentioned by others earlier, Head could go to open again for those games.
No, I called out Indian cricket, not India…there’s no need to smear an entire nation because the BCCI are a disgrace
Absolute joke he's still in the team. Now has a series average of 10.7 and that includes a 47 in one innings. His 6 other innings have produced an average of 4.5.If they don't drop Marsh they are effectively saying there are zero other all rounders in Australia
