Just do it
Marsh out, put McSweeney in his spot.
Konstas down to Head’s spot. Blood the future.

Na Konstas and Head opening. Webster at 6 (gives us both spin/quick)

he can argue it, but has no say in the decision. bottom line is if he ran in front of the stumps, from where he was, in that situation, and the throw hit him - it would have been out

They would laugh and say you could have run to the left of the bowler, or the right of the bowler, you are saying you deliberately ran on the protected area of the ground that batsmen aren’t allowed to run on when you had that choice to make, and it wasn’t to obstruct the field?

According to the gnome Alfie, “Mitch offers sooo much more to the side than his batting and bowling”.

I'm torn with Khawaja. If the next series wasn't in Asia, drop him for sure.
But he made the position his on the slower decks in Pakistan (different to SL, admittedly, much less turn). He might be out of form, or past it, but still useful on slower tracks. Particularly if the options have no experience in Asia. As mentioned by others earlier, Head could go to open again for those games.
We need to have an eye on the Ashes and I think Sri Lanka becomes the “warm up” for that (although with the way we’re tracking they might be must win games for the WTC).

Khawaja and Marsh need to go, Marnus and Smith have given themselves more time but very nervous about taking them both into next summer, and rotate the bowlers.

No, I called out Indian cricket, not India…there’s no need to smear an entire nation because the BCCI are a disgrace

If they don't drop Marsh they are effectively saying there are zero other all rounders in Australia
Absolute joke he's still in the team. Now has a series average of 10.7 and that includes a 47 in one innings. His 6 other innings have produced an average of 4.5.
Bowling wise has bowled 30 overs for 3 wickets. Compelling evidence that he must be dropped.

Khawaja in Sri Lanka: 252 runs @ 28.00

I like seeing Cummins carve Bumrah through the off side for four... but it makes me think we need more than 270

I suppose we'll see tomorrow. The elephant in the room is its two brittle batting lineups.
