Gees, its hard to think not that long ago we had the likes of Richie, Bill, Tony etc commentating this great game...

Now we have Alyssa Healy, Hayden, Langer, Fleming etc.... :drunk:
bill and tony were ****ing terrible.

Boland’s looked pretty solid both innings, a great lower order batsman to stick with a top order batsman for one of those annoying partnerships. Unfortunately he’s been batting with fellow tail enders this test.
He's pretty much Jack Leach with the bat. Doesn't really score runs, but knows how to stick around for a good amount of time

20 more runs would do us a world of good. Will be extremely hard to chase down.

Psychologically, six more feels like it would be huge.

Would love to see our guys celebrate it just a little if it happens. Don't let them keep feeling like they're on top.

Melbourne's pitches have gotten progressively better since the 2017 dead affair and now we're seeing it at its absolute best, one of the best in the country now.
The MCG was the first drop in wicket. So the original technology, which was ordinary.

They've since upgraded.

Now the drop ins have wider, deeper trays and behave & age much more like a traditional turf pitch

bill and tony were ****ing terrible.

They really weren’t.

Bill could be a cheerleader at times but overall they were nowhere near as emotive as the current bunch who jump between favourites depending on where momentum is

Boland struggling to get a bat on Bumrah, can't blame him, most of the Aussie top order were struggling to get a bat on him too.
Boland looks more solid than Marsh
