Boland’s looked pretty solid both innings, a great lower order batsman to stick with a top order batsman for one of those annoying partnerships. Unfortunately he’s been batting with fellow tail enders this test.
Fair to say his job as nightwatchman in the Ashes helped win us that Test as it was just a 43-run margin. He batted for "a month" at no.3 for 20.

They really weren’t.

Bill could be a cheerleader at times but overall they were nowhere near as emotive as the current bunch who jump between favourites depending on where momentum is
They weren't the talent, the game was. Modern commentators could learn from that.

Bill was a painful cheerleader. Aus could do nothing wrong and all he did was pile on the tourists.
Agree on the current lot. Sport commentary in this country is the pits.

I reckon this pitch has a little more in it than last time where they were able to survive when in trouble in Sydney if memory serves correct?

300 is difficult on the last day in the best of circumstances and they’ll have enough time that surviving for a draw should be out of the equation. It’ll be a result either way, unless these 2 bat another hour!!!
Correct, more seam movement today than any other in the test according to the stats, despite the claims of it being a road on here
