Yeah but i wouldve backed us to win a couple more of the games that we have lost, ie. Carlton and Collingwood.

Yeah its kinda weird, i never thought we would be 5-4, however looking back at the season we sould be at least 7-2

Yeah i agree! We panicked against Carlton when they got a run on Our shots on goal let us down against the Kangaroos. This season sort of reminds me of 1998 where we won games we werent supposed to and lost when we were supposed to win.

I would have gladly taken it but those losses to Carlton in particular and Collingwood could mean the difference between being a finals team and the bottom 8

At the start of the year we would have predicted this.
Adelaide - Loss
Freo - Loss
Carlton - Win
St.Kilda - Loss
Collingwood - 50/50
Hawthorn - 50/50
Kangaroos - Win
Brisbane - Win
Richmond - Win

If we had won one of those 50/50 games we would have been 5-4 so i guess it's we're doing allright.
Winning the hard games, losing the easy ones.

I would of taken it, but we dropped the game against Carlton.
Our kicking has been a bit of a worry also, we could and maybe should have beaten the Roos but inaccuracy cost us dearly.

This week is the big test, are we as good as we think we are?
I personally think we can win or at least give them a hard fought contest.

definately unexpected for mine, but as the season has developed, we should definately be 6-3 now..............that bloody Carlton match!!!

Collingwood would have pumped us had they kicked straight, Hawthorn and the Kangas are playing winning footy this year and they're all above us in terms of win-loss.

i hate to be pessimistic, but we could very much be 6-9 going into the 2nd round. tough month and a bit ahead.

Look, there are no easy games - they are all very competitive as the comp is quite even I believe - a "so called" crap team can give a "so called" good team a run for their money on any given game - you just don't know especially at this stage of the season, maybe by about round 15 or 16 you can start saying that a team is really crap or not

There are always positives to come out of each season & obviously we are going better this year than last year - we did nearly wion the wooden spoon last year so remember that improvement takes time - sure we "SHOULD HAVE" beaten Carlton, Collingwood & the Kangaroos - but should we have beaten Richmond? - Also how many games did we lose last year that we should have won - ie: we where in winning positions to win the game - I think our kicking for goal is one of the main reasons we didn't win those games - to tell you the trurth our kicking for goal has been very ordinary all season - espcially in first quarters - the Carlton game we kicked 7.9 - could have been 12.4 - gameover, early on anzac day - I think we were 2.3 or 3.3 or 2.4 or something to 1 behind - could have been 4.1 or 5.1 - nearly gameover & the Kangas 2.9 - should have been atleast 6.5 - we can noy afford to kick inaccuratly especially against good teams like Sydney & "so called" carp teams like Carlton who have a history of coming back against us & beating us - but we are better than last year & we have had a better run with injuries - Lloyd, Mal Michael, the emergence of Paddy, Winderlich, Watson on occasions
