Does look pretty overcast. And it will annoy Stokes so good.

I reckon bowling short is the way to go, put a few men out and bang it in .

It might be overcast but The Oval is usually a good batting pitch so most captains would choose to bat first there.

If the sun comes out Cummins might regret that call, only time will tell.

Think we missed a trick not mixing up our pace and including Neser - just needed a bit of a change to keep England guessing. Thought he was potentially coming in for Starc, as he looked a bit proppy in last match.

Glad Murph is back in - now bowl the bugger this time Pat.

Big difference sending them in this time compared to 4 years ago. In 2019 we'd spent the better part of 2 days in the field to end the fourth Test, as compared to the bowlers spending the last 2 days in the sheds this time around.

Great decision to bowl. Regardless of the pitch or how England bat, this gives us control of the game should we need to bat out time. The pressure is all on England now, but we have to take advantage.

Bowling first so that England don't have a chase in the fourth innings.

Right decision with the team.

I do feel for Neser. I thought he'd have played at least one test.
And it gives us a chance to bat last for a draw potentially if we are well behind in the game. These pitches aren't breaking down even on day 5. Gives us a chance to also bat day 2 and 3 when conditions are good to bury the game.

Cummins has finally won a toss and is bowling.

Batting first if you win the toss has gone out the window in this series.
I think it was only the first test where it happened.

This is different to Paine's boneheaded decision four years ago. It's more overcast, but how England play the game has changed. They'd always rather chase and the toss outcome has now made Australia favourites with the book (not much in it, mind).
