I’ve hated these types of chases ever since I was in the crowd 2005 at Edgbaston run chase. I was part of a tour group with Merv and every run was torture. Since then when we lost I find it hard to watch us chase.
The only good thing was during that last session we had as our guest the most gorgeous “dancer” sitting with us hoping we’d drown our tears at her establishment afterwards. When I say gorgeous she was stunning omg. the things you remember from 20 years ago.

To be fair he had an absolute mare of a season last year (maybe captaining SA took a toll of his own game) and his name probably dropped down the list of potential openers.

Hopefully he continues his form in the second half of the season and gets an opportunity in the Windies tour squad.
