I agree .....so don't say anything .....often silence is your best tool in a negotiation .....silence has your opponent guessing & jumping at shadowsHaving said what I said Re kelly I still don’t think the result would really be different but the expectation of the fans would have been
kelly is responsible for creating the expectation in some ways but he’s not responsible for the outcome as much as other people at the club and Brad himself
Talking normally just tell your opponent what you're thinking .....or whether your bluffing
Poker players spend a lot of time with props and ensuring facial movements don't reveal anything to an opponent .....just stay silent
But in the AFL World, where the practice is to try and get along with clubs for the benefit of the "next" deal .....the trade off is you reveal yourself about how you go about things ....how you approach trades
It's a dead give away
