I don’t mind the new Suns logo, but their new tagline is Fearless, while red logo on red background is subtle

And the yellow and blue strip is just insipid

Terrible. how do people eyeball each other and say "yep, this is what we are going with" surely, they know that the public and their own fans will flip out over this?
The guernsey is a massive fail. why not go with a traditional design?

Depends. If the score is based on tidying up the logo and making it look cleaner then sure, fine job.

If the score is based on whether this logo is aesthetically good at all then its a massive fail.

Saints need a serious rebrand.

Really glad we've never bothered with the logo on the guernsey thing, thought we might be tempted with the new logo. Don't think it looks good on any club that has it, awkward, cluttered and unbalanced. Having to put it ina black box makes it even worse.

I really like the St Kilda logo - never thought it was a problem. S tier, A at worst.

They look like they have a done a rebrand more than a new logo.

Look at the change, not massive … solid clean up. Changed to St. Kilda not St K.F.C. Thicker text. Lost the Latin. Added the est. date. Thicker cross. Clear outline. No classic ribbon.

Good job imo.

Glad they didn’t mess with it too much. Will be interested in the look of the whole campaign … let’s see.

St. Kilda changed logo is nothing. It is a lot of noise for a small, albeit nicer, changes. Doesn't excite.

The design incorporating a G an S as one, and a setting sun, is really very clever IMO... having been a graphic design teacher for so...toooo long, I give it a solid 8/10

However, there's not enough contrast in the colours of the home strip... something which I expect has already been mention over and over because it's so clearly obvious.

It's pretty normal to go in and chop up a font or "break" something to create a unique visual identity (eg. the Microsoft "slash" or the Google tilted "e")... but this shit just looks unfinished/lazy. I hoped it was a red-line "hey we'll fix these in the next iteration!!!"

really bad... I've made some peace with it, especially the filled version - but I really wish it didn't have the stupid layered wings or the openings in the outline stroke.

I would agree, so far it looks good on merch or with a navy background.

I still think it looks shithouse on a white background on a screen, and I think to be a good logo it has to work no matter where you see it, so I don’t think it gets a pass still.
