The first leaked one actually looked better, probably because you couldn’t really see the lack of beak detail.



You can kinda get what they were trying to do but they’ve just not executed it to its albeit limited potential, block colours in the middle doesn’t work because of the yellow outline on the bird. Beak also desperately needs a mouth/detailing, tail being on the same angle as the last wing part also makes it look weird, that last blue wing part before the tail should cut off on the same angle as the red and yellow ones.

I've been critical on the way the club handle PR, but think they've gone okay today.

The initial leak presented the logo in the worst way. It was a phone pic on a weird angle, of a working design.

Let Nine run with a more polished version of the working design, presenting it in a better light, while still holding back the final design.

Club has admitted it's in its final stages of planning but yes it's basically what we've all seen with a few minor tweaks.

High res version definitely looks worse. Highlights the lack of coherence on the lines, angles, margins, and widths.

The wing section is particularly awful high res. No idea what they are thinking there.

I've never really cared about the logo, and this one seems roughly as bland and uninteresting as all our previous ones to me.

That being said, it's looks like something directly out of a Windows 3.1 Clipart pack.

I can't say I like the leaked image that much, but I like it enough to take it over the current logo any day of the week. The leaked one is 'meh' but the current one is 'vomit'.

It looks like an insider who was not happy with the design whipped out their phone and took a picture while no one was looking (hence the weird angle). A whistleblower, if you will. Good on them for getting the image out. What if it never leaked and never got this feedback?
